How can I possibly make this any easier?
-
I've been playing video games for my entire life and I have the easiest settings on, I've been playing since the game came out and I'm getting completely shut out by the worst team in baseball on the easiest settings?
Call me terrible, tell me I need to practice, but for real, screw this. I'd rather do something more fun with my free time. This sucks. I was looking forward to this game, I feel really let down.

so you're getting shut out by Baltimore on rookie level? can't help ya there.

Hitting (for me) is the hardest part. I tend to swing at everything! But even on the easiest setting, the pitcher doesn't throw pitches down the middle. So I'm trying to work on my patience...

Quit swinging at everything.

This was one of my hardest bad habits to break and I still go through spurts of free swinging. My advice to you. Look at the pitchers delivery. Focus your eyes on his release point. You’ll pick up the ball better.

There are more strikes thrown on veteran and all-star than rookie.

This sounds more like tv lag to be honest.
-
I actually fing rookie harder to hit than veteran or all star.

Take pitches. When you’re on the path to becoming a good hitter, taking the first pitch every at bat isn’t a bad idea.
-
Get a monitor with 5 ms or less delay. Sucks playing on a smaller screen but you can pick one up for like $150. Then just focus on the ball coming out the pitchers hand.
