Ranked Seasons Record

2 to 1 win to loss ratio is pretty good in my opinion especially with how records have been messed up this year.
-
Record. If you play a ton, people can make WS with a .500 record. We’ve seen it before
-
I don't think there's a specific record that would be "good". I mean if you're above .500 you're doing well for yourself I'd say. This year it doesn't matter anyway because the way you could tell if someone was one of the top tier players is by the WS banner but anyone can get one those this year.

Just wondering what everyone would consider a good ranked seasons record to be. Also what do you value more, your record or rating?
It depends on your level of skill while playing the game. If you are a beginner I would say a couple games above .500 would be considered a good record for a beginner.

Record for sure. A good record is subjective, but I'd say at least a 5:1 win/loss ratio.

Depends on games played. If someone has a 50-10 record in October then they just play the first 5 games every new season in the 400s-500s lol

Some people also put the game down for extended times. Last year I was like 54-6 and made World Series the first three seasons and as high as 1000+ rating, but I stopped playing in like June.

There are so many variables in life, I don't think people should even bother with caring about records, although everyone's lives are different.
I've had multiple freeze offs this year that I quit, those have been handing out 2 losses. Last night I was up 7-5, hit my second Grand Slam of the game, dude quits, server error, I got 2 losses added to my record.
Additionally, folks with families and kids quit often due to a variety of more important things in life.
But if you're truly able to dedicate your attention just to the game, and avoid all the server and freezing issues, I'd agree with the 2 wins for every loss post. Baseball is a game of chance with skill thrown in, the game isn't different.

Yes but it must be hell of a grind. Best I got was CS in 19 and was playing about .550ish ball.

I was 2-2 played a opponent and my record change for 14-4. Nice coding

Same goes for me.

I’m probably like 19-14 but it says 31-27 or something like that. Some losses were servers some I just lost. I’m an average player sitting at 635 or so right now. Most my losses were the first couple of days having to play on veteran and everyone I played was like 6-1 or so. I don’t think record is too indicative of skill because matchmaking could bless you for a while or screw you. Now guys that are 54-2 , 45-10 etc that does mean they are good. But those mid rankings may not show bc the last game I played I beat a guy that was 24-10, and I can’t hit to save my life.

Would you consider 27-9 good? That's my record.

I think rating is more important.

Depends on what level you are at, that’s what I meant by saying records may not mean that much, rating is more important. But I’d say your record is definitely better than most.

Where would you rank my record, 90-19?
-
I think it would be cool to see rating over record when you load in instead

Play above Allstar.

I'd say rating is more important than record.
