If you make it into DD and try showdown, the servers could possibly drop invalidating your run.
Oh, and it’s double XP time, but the double XP doesn’t actually get credited to your account.

Just deleted and downloaded the game again and finally seeing some XP. Can’t believe how much I’ve missed over the last week. No way I’ll get to the 1st innings boss even though I should have been there by now. Disappointing.

I've played every year. Yeah, there's always issue for the first few days as far as servers, but nothing like this. Which game have you been playing the past with all these issues?
It's not this bad but servers are always a problem with the show. 17 was brutal, it was months before games would even count because they kept going to queue. Last year was pretty good but release week there were minor server outages. 18 and 19 were decent but same for the first week. This is bar far the worst for server outages and overall problems

I know it's always been server issues at the beginning, but not the complete game. I can't think of the last time xp wasn't working, inventory was lost, stubs lost, etc...all at once to begin the season.

Except they have to support 4 platforms this year, Covid restrictions. Xbox support plus Gamepass probably doubled the player base. I play an hour, close the game for 5 minutes and boot it again before continuing. It’s a bit better, but Showdown is still 80% unplayable

Yes , you are right on all counts. There is a pretty simple fix though. Go into the Settings menu and AN UNHANDLED SERVER ERROR OCCURRED

I get it all that, but they knew about adding platforms at least 2 years ago. What it boils down to is the coding got screwed up. They had too many irons in the fire this year.

The thing that just gets me is that its basically something affecting every mode you want to try and play. Although, I'd say I wasn't having too much trouble staying connected in DD today.
