Okay so I want to progress my RTTS player as much as I can for now,... I’m reading people state hitting missions, conquest and DD modes work well but, I freaking hate DD and have never had the patience for it. Now I’m feeling forced to at least try it and honestly, this mode is confusing as heck! Is there a good, concise breakdown of what each mini game that helps a RTTS player progress even is in DD and how they work? I’m totally lost in how to best go about it for purely RTTS progression purposes...

Tia to anyone willing to help

DD does not work either for advancing your player to gain perks. The whole game is borked atm. And if they dont make a few changes or reverse a few things, the game is borked forever.

You are better off just playing RTTS in 20. They butchered the mode in 21.

Just don’t have any equipment on and you will get progress. If you have more than one load out make sure no equipment on there and you’re good to go. And I suggest playing dd with your player to grind out some inning in play vs cpu. Play against the tigers on rookie and you will be good. I have been leveling up my pitcher who has a gold archetype at the moment and I’m about half way done with the gold program

Oh and the equipment only boosts stats in dd. Even with your little thing above the stat it still doesn’t count. I have the Jackie Robinson shoes that give you a plus 14 speed which is another reason to play dd for the conquest to get really good Jackie Robinson equipment. But my base speed is a 57 with my perks and with those shoes in he is still slow as mud. With the boosts my speed should be 71 but nah he is slow af

I posted a work around thread where you literally only have to play a 3 inning conquest game and then it's progression for days. But if people wanna be stubborn and tunnel vision for one mode. It's literrally 10-15 mins of your time and then all the RTTS progression you want. But to each his own waste time complaining about it that's fine but there is a work around if interested. Have a great day! 🙂

I’ve tried conquest,... one I don’t enjoy or understand the mode. Two it takes way longer than that when I have tried but I’ll try again.
