What did SDS get RIGHT for The Show 19?

I think you may have misunderstood my meaning of "strictly offline". I wasn't saying only offline players could get those rewards, I was saying you could obtain those rewards if you chose to only play the game offline. I feel like, for the most, part, they did a good job of making rewards available to offline players. I don't understand the problem with online players being able to get the same rewards as offline players. I agree with you on the dailies, though.
The problem was WS/12-0 BR could earn and sell their rewards for doing what they enjoy doing but offline players could not sell diamond Willie Mays or sig Adam Wainright or any other card that could only be obtained online. I was quite irritated that WS players could sell Don Mattingly (for example) if they didn't want him but I couldn't sell Ty Cobb and use those stubs to buy Don Mattingly.
Not only that but they then decided to adapt moments to the online players as the game progressed. As the rewards got better, they made the moments quicker. People loved the Shark map in conquest because you could obtain tons of packs with minimal effort. Almost like they wanted you to be your standard online player (try to do the offline stuff as quick as possible to get your rewards because you really want to play online but you don't want to miss out on the easy offline stuff). To top it all off IMO the most "F U offline player" move was when they did those Griffey moments. The storyline moments have been broken since day 1 with them being harder than any other moment set released with how bad they were set up (and I still think fielding is broken in moments). But the moment online players had moments they wanted to do for both Griffey and program stars, the moment they complain a little about some moment being "too hard" because one of them has him facing a lefty pitcher, SDS goes from "moments are supposed to be hard" to "let us fix that for you."

I guess there would have to be an offline equivalent to WS or 12-0 BR or Events wins in order to warrant the same level of rewards. I just don't know what that would be in the offline only world.

Stadium sounds were by far the worse idea they came up with for 19
I think it was a good idea, just not perfect execution. If they allowed you to be able to turn off hearing your opponent’s stadium sounds, that would be ideal.

I think they got a few things right.
Ball trajectory off the wall
Relevance of non power hitters
Lineup diversity
Many free high quality cards
Stealing is balanced
Infield defense is done very well
Collections were all generally fun
Innings Programs were overall good
Rewards Program was done well
Splitters were finally effective
Bunts are balanced -
Putting together a good game.
I've never played MLBTS into the offseason before. I would never have imagined being engaged enough with a baseball game to be still playing 12 weeks before the release of the next installment.

There was. It was called moments extreme.

I disagree. Moments Extreme is nowhere near as difficult as making WS or going 12-0 in BR and the rewards weren't as good (rightfully so). I get that maybe that was the intention behind it, but it really doesn't compare, and it's a one time thing. I completed Moments Extreme over the course of a weekend or so and that was it. Maybe having a certain winning percentage against the CPU on Legend would be comparable? I don't know what the answer is here.

Agreed

There was nothing you could earn from only offline play that you could then put on the market to sell to those that didn't want to play offline except the Topps Now stuff.
Future Stars Bichette
All the Cards from the Legends/Flashback packs (Diaz, LoCain, Nen, Osuna, etc)
Postseason 2019 Cards
Hidden Rewards in ConquestAnd, if we're being honest, EVERYTHING in the programs. Just because you could get stars for online tasks didn't prevent anyone from earning as many offline stars as their heart desired.

Now you're throwing in pack cards. Point remains. No online cards were unsellable. (Almost) every offline card was unsellable.

Moments Extreme was as or more difficult as making WS. Making WS is just about having the time to play enough games. Also Andrew Miller was good or better than any WS reward at the time.
Moments Extreme was as or more difficult as making WS - no
Also Andrew Miller was good or better than any WS reward at the time. - also no -

the game was head and shoulders better than 18 or 17 anyone who says otherwise either sucks or has no clue how to play
Or enjoys different things than you do.
yeah absolutely

Content multiple lineups was great. Better user input would be nice. Fielding for diamonds is noticeably better than commons other than Frank Thomas so that’s cool. Honestly with a little better hitting and pitching and a revamped franchise mode I would play this game all day if I’m free
-
Let's add making The Polo Grounds a collection reward. Outside of moments, I haven't had to play a single game at this cheese factory.

They got a lot right, and I'm going to post your thread on this one of proposed improvements:

I think this is where they could have something for the play vs cpu. Currently there’s really no reason to do this. Maybe win certain number of games on HoF or Legend or defeat all teams on a certain difficulty for access to a BR or WS award? Not sure as I do think it’s good for the game to have rewards that are difficult to achieve

I think 17 was better than 19 I must not be good at the game or maybe I'm playing it the wrong way.
