    It literally happens a couple times a year like that in real life, but happens all the time in the game. And that clip isn't even what I was referencing. In the game, the first basemen plays on the same plane as the runner (ie in the basepath), where in virtually all cases the 1B in rl either moves in or back on the pitch (because a collision would be interference and give the runner 2nd).

    Let’s not ignore the fact this is 2021 and there is still no collision detection in this game.

    Did we at least eliminate the Casual Trot that turns into a Rocket us the [censored] at the last second?

    Nope, animation i get is whichever one i am locked onto the other one throws both hands up and moves out of way. Sometimes closer than i like, but never gone through another player. But that doesn't mean it doesn't happen and definitely not calling you a liar, just saying i have not personally witnessed that.

    You know what’s crazy, they had collisions like 15-20 years ago. I remember them when I was younger. Either ps1 or ps2, I can’t remember.

    Loved all the new additions to fielding this year, only thing I didn’t see you guys talk about was fielders having more of a sense of urgency. Honestly I think adding some kind of acceleration button would be cool to add. Or maybe a quick throw addition but if you do a quick throw it lessens the green window by a lot while throwing the ball. Maybe using R2 /RT as a urgent button while running and throwing but doing so will have an impact on throw accuracy. But everything else looks amazing , can’t wait for release, keep up good work SDS.

    The baserunner is not even close to the bag in this video. In the game the base runner is near the bag when it happens.

    That’s one more thing to complain and worry about. We have bigger issues than that with the game. If anything, we should be thanking SDS for not adding it in.

    I have witnessed this but only with fielders who have lesser fielding attributes.

    Are you seeing it all the time?

    Are you seeing it with guys who have good fielding?

    What is the reaction attribute to the player you have seen it with?
