Does anyone know if I can transfer my the show account so my loyalty will still show up on Xbox or is it just a blank slate no matter what?

One reason is some people have 1440P monitors and Sony doesn't support that but the new Xbox does.

Another reason is that a lot of people find the Xbox controller substantially more comfortable.

I guess I just don't see what will be at most a 5-7k card at launch(and that is Gallo, he will be the most expensive gold at launch) as a big deal at all

Gallo is guaranteed to be the most expensive gold. He will be the only player on the rangers higher than bronze. Not to mention he is one of the more usable gold cards at launch. Merrifield and Salvy will be up there, same with Yaz, but Gallo will for sure be the most expensive
I'll even go as far as to predict the most expensive golds based on current teams and past games.
Teams that will 100% have a diamond card and won't have super expensive golds: Red Sox, Yankees, Blue Jays(Springer), Indians, White Sox, Angels, A's, Astros, Mets, Braves, Nationals, Phillies, Cardinals, Brewers, Dodgers, Padres, Rockies.Teams that Might have diamonds depending on how much they put into the 2020 season: Rays(Randy absolutely will not be diamond to start the year, but Anderson likely will be. Cubs(Baez is the only one with a chance to be diamond and he had a bad 2020. I could see him or Bryant being an expensive gold. Reds(Depending where Sonny gray starts), DBacks(if they bump Marte back up.
Teams that won't have a gold: orioles, Tigers, Pirates, Most likely Marlins as well.
That leaves Twins, Royals, Rangers, Mariners(if they keep Lewis gold otherwise they are in the above group), Giants.
Twins will have probably 4-5 gold cards so there won't be one that's particularly expensive. So IMO the expensive golds will be Merrifield, Perez, Gallo, Kyle Lewis(or Marco Gonzalez I guess), and Yaz

If the reviews on the game are good on xbox I might switch, price matters as well. I'll be on PS4 til at least summer though.
I'm more of a casual gammer its just sims 4, NBA, NHL & The Show, so the next Last of Us or Spider Man doesn't really matter to me, I need to know how it preforms on xbox first.

i think they'll make it where you can do that. Plus i'm guessing xbox users since they're new may get a few more non publicized rewards in dd.

The Marlins have Starling Marte. He'll at worst be a high gold. I agree with pretty much everything else.

I switched over to the Xbox as well from the PS4. I play The Show and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, which will both be on the Xbox. Getting the Xbox Series X saved me $2500, as the Flight Simulator absolutely kills a computer performance wise. It is a great game, yet eats resources. Knowing that the Flight Simulator will be optimized for the Xbox and also The Show on it, was a no-brainer to make the switch. Besides, the companies don't make $$ on the consoles, they make $$ on the games, and thus any other sports games I play will be cross platform as well starting in '22 as both the Xbox Series S/X and PS5 are powerful enough for cross-platform (and all run Linux I believe), so compiling the game once it builds on one platform isn't hard to do for the others as well.

I made the switch with the purchase of the Series S. I still love PS and will get the 5 at some point but with going all digital 2 years ago, game pass and MLB I couldn't ignore the xbox. I choose the S as I don't have a TV that can do what the X and PS5 can do. I love it so far and can't wait to get rocking with 21. So happy that more gamers will get to play this great series on the console they prefer and that we can all play together!!!!

I like how you spent time and broke down every team! But something to also to take into consideration for the price of card is likelyhood of reaching diamond. That alone will bump value of guys that start out gold and show same potential as last year rookie starts, whereas guys like Gallo and Grandal i think will finish year as silvers.

Because xbox gamepass is the best deal in gaming. Seriously, $15 a month for over 300 games. Microsoft recently bought out Bethesda so all their games are included as well.

Maybe they’ll be some newbies you can pad your record with at the start, like we used to at Christmas with CoD.
