I just don’t get it

My play the past two weeks has been absolutely dreadful. Might win a game here or there, but I’m playing so bad.
I cannot hit a fastball right now. Late on it every time. 98 or higher and I have no chance. Fastballs in top third of zone and I’m late every time. I have to sell out for it and I’m susceptible to off speed. I just don’t get it. I play on a monitor. And it didn’t use to be like this, but the past week to two I can’t do anything. And my PCI doesn’t even show it’s moving sometimes. I can feel like I’m right on something and I’ll be late and my PCI will be sitting dead middle even though I’m moving it.
Pitches have also been an issue. The usual complaints with balls sucked to the middle. My pitching has always been a strength and it hasn’t been completely off, but I have moments where I can’t control it no matter what I do. I pitched a game with Pearson FS where every single pitch went to the middle. It might have been up just a bit, or off to sides just a bit, but it was what I’d classify as middle of the zone.
I just don’t get it right now. Don’t know what I’m doing. Don’t know how to fix it. Going on vacation starting tomorrow, so I’ll get a much-needed break. But I wanted to vent.
Anyone having or have had similar issues? Particularly dealing with fastballs. How did you fix it? I never had this problem before. I’m so off right now, I don’t know what to do. It’s frustrating and it feels like I just started for the first time.

Not being able to catch up to fastballs some days, and being early others is not a "you" thing. It's a connection and server issue. Not much you can do about any of it. it's the nature of trying to play a reaction based sports game against people living thousands of miles away.

In the same boat. A month ago I was a beast. Last 2 or 3 weeks I haven't been good

When I get into a funk, I take a day or two off. The only time I made WS this year came on the heels of a 3 day break.
It seems counterintuitive, but forcing yourself away from the game will help. I come back - even from 1 day off - feeling refreshed and I can read the ball out of the pitcher's hand. Enjoy your vacation.

I agree. The game is so random this year that you can easily outplay your opponent and still lose, or get outplayed and win.
It’s unfortunate, but it will drive you crazy if you let it.
I think the best way to enjoy the game (and do well) this year is to just laugh when ridiculous errors and such happen.
