So I got on this morning after watching some tulo vids on YouTube and was taking notes even did some custom practice on legend before my first ranked game. Got on and was playing some nobody and thought I was gonna crush. I had 3 flyouts to warning track. One perfect perfect fly out. So I’m pitching and I try to burry a slider and for some reason it ends up literally down the middle? Like how in the world? I’m using meter pitching I just don’t get it? It just pisses me off cause both his home runs were mistake pitches that magically lean toward the middle of the plate. And of course he replays it. Like idk if I could even try to position a slider that perfectly if I even meant to throw it there ! Idk why players are so hostile during the game it’s more fun when they aren’t deliberately trying to [censored] you off. I even had way more hits than him like 13 he had 7 and it was 5-4 . BS.I’m not even a sore loser either I love a good game it’s just mind blowing that I’m losing to this guy like I’m usually way better than this I just don’t get it. And they always throw lefty pitchers what the [censored]? Only lefties. Everybody throws [censored] lefties. And then brings in lefty starting pitcher In 7th like do you really need the win that bad my guy ? Smh how degrading on my part . I can’t even make it out of the 500’s against some nobody and I’m trying my hardest if this is how competitive and tough mlb the show is I want no part of it. I grinded for the cards I got mostly everything I wanted I’m prestige lvl9 there’s not much left to do unless I want to try and make World Series
. I thought I was good or I thought I was at least decent at this game but now I’m starting to think otherwise. The sad part is I won’t be able to just come back whenever if I don’t stay playing. I’d like to be good but at the end of the day it doesn’t even matter and I think I’m just going to give up this game and enjoy a new year.If you're struggling to get out of the 500's, you cant really blame it on the game. Especially when your 40 games under .500. If this is your first year playing, don't get too pissed. Everyone has had a game like yours. Just move on to the next one.

I think anyone who plays this game routinely can make CS in 19 if they try now.....point being, while the OP is over reacting, don’t slag unless you have a stud record in 20 which you do not....

I just got PS5 for Black Friday coming from Xbox one. So I’ve been playing the show for about a month and a half. My RS record is like 29-34, and I get SO FRUSTRATED losing to people I can tell aren’t good at all. But I keep reminding myself I’m new and will get better with time.
For instance, I jumped into FIFA in 2012. I was bad until fifa 2013 came out. I think it takes about a year - two years to get good at a new game online.
Take a break and keep getting better man.

I think anyone who plays this game routinely can make CS in 19 if they try now.....point being, while the OP is over reacting, don’t slag unless you have a stud record in 20 which you do not....

Your post was encouraging and has been misinterpreted. Well done on finally getting that last pain in the [censored] trophy. Are you finding that the level of competition is more difficult this late in 19s life? I tried and failed to get that trophy in March, got up to 670 quickly and went on a downward spiral and gave up.

Finally someone who interpreted it correctly. It's honestly not too stressful. The big key is just to relax and not get mad at yourself gotta have a good team and it will come. Not many huge wagner or mays god squads left playing still.

Online play is busted. Period. It’s like driving a car with no steering wheel. You’re at the mercy of the RNG. You can’t play online and expect it to be enjoyable the way the game is designed. You just have to pray to the RNG gods that they bless you. It’s a shame too cuz I consider RS the truest form of the game (in theory).

Game Play... with everyone knowing that it’s better to be late on swings, everyone is forced to swing early. As a result, can’t throw anything but off speed pitches. Of course, those have to be left in the strike zone because every check swing won’t be called. Love it when an opponent gets a perfect perfect on a Dibble fastball about a foot above the strike zone.

Home hunting— I’m tired of playing at Shippett and every game turning into a Derby.
I feel like I have to spend more time figuring out how my opponents are getting an advantage on me versus actually working to play a fair/honest game.

You can't have almost any modern game with RNG, having RNG in a game doesn't make it bad, it's not some super evil force that ruins games. The problem is not that "there is rng in the show", the problem is that the RNG matters way too much, in that it decides outcomes for a lot of games.
So the statement that "and I don't know how they'll fix anything. The game will always have some rng" is focusing on the wrong thing. The goal isn't the elimination of RNG, it's just making it matter a lot less, which is absolutely possible.
Now will SDS do that? Probably not, RNG exists for a reason and it's all about retention, but just because the game will always have some amount of RNG does not mean it's not fixable.

I can’t believe how many people cry and cry and cry cause this game isnt a perfect simulation of real baseball. I mean, How much closer can it get??
