I just got PS5 for Black Friday coming from Xbox one. So I’ve been playing the show for about a month and a half. My RS record is like 29-34, and I get SO FRUSTRATED losing to people I can tell aren’t good at all. But I keep reminding myself I’m new and will get better with time.
For instance, I jumped into FIFA in 2012. I was bad until fifa 2013 came out. I think it takes about a year - two years to get good at a new game online.
Take a break and keep getting better man.

Your post was encouraging and has been misinterpreted. Well done on finally getting that last pain in the [censored] trophy. Are you finding that the level of competition is more difficult this late in 19s life? I tried and failed to get that trophy in March, got up to 670 quickly and went on a downward spiral and gave up.

Finally someone who interpreted it correctly. It's honestly not too stressful. The big key is just to relax and not get mad at yourself gotta have a good team and it will come. Not many huge wagner or mays god squads left playing still.

Online play is busted. Period. It’s like driving a car with no steering wheel. You’re at the mercy of the RNG. You can’t play online and expect it to be enjoyable the way the game is designed. You just have to pray to the RNG gods that they bless you. It’s a shame too cuz I consider RS the truest form of the game (in theory).

Game Play... with everyone knowing that it’s better to be late on swings, everyone is forced to swing early. As a result, can’t throw anything but off speed pitches. Of course, those have to be left in the strike zone because every check swing won’t be called. Love it when an opponent gets a perfect perfect on a Dibble fastball about a foot above the strike zone.

Home hunting— I’m tired of playing at Shippett and every game turning into a Derby.
I feel like I have to spend more time figuring out how my opponents are getting an advantage on me versus actually working to play a fair/honest game.

You can't have almost any modern game with RNG, having RNG in a game doesn't make it bad, it's not some super evil force that ruins games. The problem is not that "there is rng in the show", the problem is that the RNG matters way too much, in that it decides outcomes for a lot of games.
So the statement that "and I don't know how they'll fix anything. The game will always have some rng" is focusing on the wrong thing. The goal isn't the elimination of RNG, it's just making it matter a lot less, which is absolutely possible.
Now will SDS do that? Probably not, RNG exists for a reason and it's all about retention, but just because the game will always have some amount of RNG does not mean it's not fixable.

What pisses me off is idiots like you that judge others right away and automatically assume someone is [censored].. or feel you have the right to win because you had more hits. Lol...that [censored] means NOTHING.. its a god [censored] video game and you guys want it to play like its actually real life happening.. my fav is all the [censored] content creators that consistantly bash the game but still play and yada yada because without the the game they are nothing. Took a break from this game and tried to play some this past week. This game is still painful to play. Not enjoyable at all. Non-stop pitches down the middle. With these cards, you can literally sit in the middle of the zone and foul off every pitch. Hitting wise probably the most unrewarding baseball game I have ever played. So many good swings are routine outs. 18 was mainly bad due to lineup diversity and souvenirs. This game play is just horrid. Only bought it due to the pandemic.
Really enjoyed purchasing Soto to try for 350k stubs in the event and out of 30 ab's, he had 2 strikes on at least 20 of them. Fun stuff. This game just isn't worth $60. No big deal, I would rather play a different game or watch netflix.
