Maybe, but I would like it to be my input that loses the game. I don’t think I should’ve missed that much and that badly on a perfect release with a 99 pitcher, no matter how bad he is.

I agree, it is super frustrating to hit your spot with input and just see the ball go where it wants.
It would be really interesting to play a version of this game where input determined the outcomes.

Stuff like this needs to be retro-captured and uploaded so the devs and other players can see it in all of its frustrating glory. Did you get a clip
Edit: Jansen’s cutter is a beast, or at least it was last year (I’ve only played DD online in TS19).

I don’t use Kenley, for the same reason I use Mariano Rivera sparingly (locked him in for prestige months ago), which is that players tend to sit on anything breaking right to left. My usual MO would be to pitch away to righties and try to get a roll over, or in to lefties and try to jam them, but I personally feel that with guys like Mo and Jansen, that’s precisely what your opponent will be sitting on. As a result I tend to throw sinkers and fastballs in to righties and fastballs away and change ups down to lefties. Not really relevant to the terrible state of pitching this year, a factor on which I agree entirely with your opinions, but I just thought I’d add that regardless.

Ya the pitching is horrible. Pitchers who have control in the mid to high 90's will have their perfect releases miss their spot over half of the time which is crazy to me. A lot of the time the ball goes either too far out of the zone to get a swing or creeps toward the middle of the plate for a meatball.
