I have a RTTS on legend going where I can hit x10 better than in online play. My dude has like 58 contact from either side of the plate I hit .320+. I know this is old news it's just really apparent to me right now, I rarely play offline but ranked was driving me so insane I had to take a break.

Side note- I got called up at 18 and turned the Phillies season around from under .500 to winning the World Series. We had to win not one but TWO tie breaker games just to get into the Wild Card game. [censored] was crazy!

Agree, they are different; but, imo, it is hard to compare RTTS hitting vs. AI to an RS live opponent. I don't believe offline AI picks up and exploits weaknesses and tendencies anywhere close to what a live player does. Plus, there are perks in RTTS that don't exist in RS.

This is not to discount issues with online play/RS mind you, just think this it's too much apples/oranges here.

He could be referring to pitch speeds and contact/power? Pitch speed is definitely different than online.

I fully agree. I started a franchise last week for the first time in 5 years and it plays so smoothly in comparison to H2H.

The biggest difference is the pitch speeds are noticeably slower and you get rewarded for a lot more mediocre/poor input. I don’t notice it when I play DD offline so much as a different game mode

There is no lag, that’s why it plays better

Quality of offline gameplay is night and day better than online. Always has been, always will be!! It’s a [censored] shame too!!

My takeaway from this is apparently we can’t judge one fruit to another. All fruits are special, unique, and different in their own respective way.
