Favorite 3-4-5 (or 2-3-4) Batters from a Team

Random, I know, but it popped into my head.

For me, it’s either 2-3-4 of A-Rod, Junior, Edgar (with Buhner on deck!).

A close second would be 3-4-5 of Walker, Galarraga, Bichette (with Vinny Castilla on deck!).

The 2014 tigers lineup of Kinsler, Torii Hunter, Miggy, V-Mart, JD Martinez was nasty. And so was there pitching rotation, which consisted of 4 Cy Young Winners and a pitcher with an ERA title. What a disappointing f’n team getting swept by the Orioles. I hate Dave Dombrowski

SDS

Donaldson Bautista Encarnacion

Try Indians 1995! 1997 line ups! Deadly

SDS

Baerga/Belle/Manny (with Lofton leading off)? Or am I way off.

SDS

Cubs 2016 - 2/3/4/5 of Schwarber, Bryant, Rizzo, and Zobrist.

But the Yankees in 1998/99 were deadly - I believe 2 through 8 were

Jeter/Knoblauch/Tino Martinez/O'Niel/Chilli Davis/Bernie Williams/ Jorge Posada

For 1997 It was Thome/Manny/Justice/Grissom/Gilles/ Sean Casey with Vizquel leading off

(Lofton was on the Braves)

SDS

Always loved Frank Thomas, Albert Belle, then Magglio Ordonez

SDS

How about the 1997 Marlins.
1/2/3/4/5 of

Renteria/Connine/Alou/Sheffield/
Bonilla

Or the Braves in 1995/96
2/3/4/5/6/7

Lemke/Chipper Jones/Justice/McGriff/Grissom/ Javy Lopez

SDS

Rickey Henderson, Jose Canseco and Big Mac. (1-2-3.) 1990-1991 Athletics
Still thinking about middle of the order. Rickey leads off so yeah...

SDS
