Is anyone excited about these RIB part 2 cards??
-
David Price? Verlander? Cliff Floyd? Olerud?
-
The original RiBs weren't world-beaters either. But it was additional content to keep you playing.
Not sure what the complaint is...
-
I have not seen all of them so I'll wait to give an opinion. Really the problem is that many of those Finest players are really good (almost OP) and add in some postseason players. You could field a team with those two programs alone and be pretty much set for your team. I'll definitely try out Fergie and Eck though.
-
Sutter and Eck will be decent pen options. Eck will likely be eligible for the West Teams event coming up....I think Cargo will also play up.
-
Sutter eck and possibly Jenkins can probably still make most pens and rotations. Otherwise if you are basing it on endgame lineups all usable cards have been released. It’s either things like this or they pack it up until 21 comes out. I’d prefer they keep doing things like this for variety sake. If they throw in arrieta or even a signature Giambi I will give them a shot.
-
I will give Eckersley, Sutter, Jenkins, CarGo and Damon a try.
-
I'm almost done with TA4 Conquest maps, so I will be happy to have more offline stuff to do. I've been waiting for Eckersley a long time, hes going to be in my bullpen. I will also be trying out quite a few of the new cards as well.
-
I think the whole point of them is that they are just fun. I don't have any of the first lot, but I quite enjoy Jonny Damon so will probably get him and maybe Eck to try.
-
excited...nah, but i will get them.

I have one AL map left before I do the NL maps. RIB 2.0 will take priority for a week or two, while I grab the new cards.

These cards are here for one reason, and one reason only. All time team builds.
-
Fergie, Eck, Sutter, and even Cargo will go nice for a Cubs team build

I dont know about anyone else, but these cards seem kinda "meh" to me. Obviously, they still have a couple more to release, but the only ones I'm even considering possibly trying are the 99 Jenkins and the sig series Eck so far.....here's to hoping for maybe a 99 Arrieta or someone else that I'll use.....
This is what happens when they have given out 99s left and right this year. Not sure why they dialed it back for the RIB 2 cards but they did so they seem underwhelming compared to a 99 Jacob Stallings or 99 Randy Arozarena.
-
There are no “endgame” cards left besides Verlander, Adley, Franco. Assuming you hate FS cards then just Verlander. These cards are mean for theme teams and making use of SDS paying for their rights. I mean why pay these guys if you aren’t going to give them a semi-usable card. Every one of these so far has been more exciting than RIB 1, which you should have based your expectations on
-
Nah. I really like some of the players like Eck, Dunn and Jenkins, but how can you get excited for any content this year? It’s been a pretty stupid year content wise and we’re now at the point where there are no standout players in Diamond Dynasty. Babe Ruth, Ken Griffey Jr and Mickey Mantle are worse cards than Juan Soto, Manny Machado and co. Even before Finest dropped, Topps Now Byron Buxton was better than Kenny Lofton and so on and so on.
I’ll buy the ones I like and use them, but content stopped exciting me months ago, unfortunately. The last time I got legitimately hyped for content this year was TA3. It’s been downhill steadily from there for me.
-
As a guy that likes to make team and theme builds...I am very pleased with the free content.
-
The just announced Flashback 99 Josh Hader will sure be used.
-
Wonder if bellingers 2019 finest flashback will be revived this year

I’m using him for sure. He reminds me of me. Both 6’3” lefties with the same political and societal views. Only difference is he throws 10 MPH harder than me.

Hader goes into my pen over McGee. Happy to have another usable lefty arm.
