This Game Plays Great On The PS5

Just got everything hooked up and played a game of BR. No more jumpy PCI. No more laggy base running. No more frame drops during the game. I wouldn’t say the graphics are better but everything seems sharper and cleaner. I’m playing on the faster in game setting with wired internet and an Asus VG279q monitor. A nice little end of life cycle bonus to keep me playing until spring. Would be interested to see if others are seeing the same things.

Yes same. Just having trouble with my timing, getting used to remote. I'm late a lot. -

Same experience for me. It seemed smoother and more fluid. Still a home run derby, but one that runs a lot better. Using an Asus vg249q so roughly the same settings as well. I did have to turn off vibration though as it’s not optimized for the new controller

Do you get more than 60 fps on the ps5 for this game?

Probably 99 percent of us don't play on monitors. I'd be interested to see how the game plays on the PS5 for those of us who don't have monitors.

I tried it on PS5 hooked up to my LG 60 or whatever inch screen on with the game set to sharper video and the input lag was ridiculous. Faster video was better, but still input lag factored.
Then tried on my 24 inch 12 year old BENQ ET0020-T monitor with the game video set to sharper and it was like I was playing it with video set to faster.
This was in conquest on the TV and play now exhibition on the monitor. Both vs CPU.
So in summary, you probably will see an improved performance on your TV, but you may need to have it set to faster video anyway.

If it’s any consolation I’m still only playing MLB The Show on it 99% of the time on my old monitor so the experience for me is still basically the same

Why get 2? It would be a [censored] move just to sell the other one. People actually want one so they play it.

I actually had the EXACT opposite happen to me on my game on PS5. I had a ton of input lag, and I have an excellent monitor, 1m/s response time, 144 hz. Were u playing with ur HDR on?

If you’re responding to my findings, no to HDR. I don’t think it existed when my monitor was manufactured

It plays very good. I never used a monitor. U might not need one for ps5. Get that big screen and enjoy. -
Wish I could get ahold of one, I've had 7 different ones in carts not let me purchase it.
