Two items here, let me know if I’m crazy on one, both or neither.
Am I crazy to lock in all the legend FOTF? I have them all already, so I would profit 61k stubs, a ballin bundle and 30 regular packs, plus a lot of XP.
Am I crazy to lock in the rest of Topps Now cards I need to finish September POTM. To buy the ones I need, it would cost about 230k. It would net me Mondesi, Ramirez, Carrasco, 12.3k and a ballin bundle, plus a lot of XP.
I’m prestige 70-something. The way I see it, I’m never going to get Mays or Chipper, the two cards I want the most because I don’t have an order in (I skipped it when I didn’t get one in early enough). So, no Chipper or Mays in my future unless something changes with both of them dramatically in the future. I don’t necessarily care a lot about the other BR rewards. Of the other available cards, I feel I’ll work to the team Finest as I get them. Not concerned about pushing my way up there fast. When I get them, I might lock them in too, so I can get the Nolan Arenado.
Otherwise, there’s not a ton left out there that I want, that I don’t have (really just Rickey, Kenley, Vlad and a couple lower priced guys for fun). My thinking was by locking in those cards, I’ll have enough to purchase both Rickey and Kenley (I have a decent stub bank as it is) and there wouldn’t be anything else to chase except finest.
Am I crazy to lock in all those stubs for those two items and the return value? Unless they surprise us with something, there’s also not much else coming that I desire except maybe an Eckersley, Nen, or maybe Verlander, Miggy, Eddie Murray or Edgar Martinez. And those aren’t real high on my list.

Sorry, I didn't see this. SO, first off: For the FOTF: I would not lock them in, UNLESS it gets you a Trout voucher that you need. If there are some that are in your lineup, keep them, but don't lock them in.
I wouldn't lock in the Topps Now cards. I would go to Mondesi, and then stop. Then you saved a BUNCH of stubs that you can use toward another 3rd baseman. But that is just my opinion.

I'll say this this the TA4 cards are great and there are a ton of stubs you can make. Do you have Awards Trout yet? if not I would say yes to locking in either Tops now (shouldn't be too hard and Ramirez/ Mondesi are great cards) or the FOTF players who I would say you don't necessarily have to lock in although there are some great cards in there (Thome/Wood/Dawson/Davis) Either way it's up to you but like you said there's not much else coming, maybe a few events (hopefully Addley or Kelenic today for the new event) Best of luck either way.

Thanks for the thoughts guys. I am just trying to figure out if I'll ever sell the legend FOTF anyway. It's not like I need the stubs, necessarily.
(And yes, I already have Trout and Mantle)

you got it man. I wanted Nolan to but the other cards in that reward path are trash and Machado has been a monster so im selling all my finest and just buying some high priced cards to play with. Just bought goose for 680k and still have over a mil and counting

lmbo. Yea I bought all of them and am using them while i do these new conquests maps and then i sell them back when i finish the stat mission. Evans and Mattingly were a surprise. Salmon sux

Haha. I still don’t know what to do. That’s locking in a lot of stubs, but is there really anything else I want (I can earn Finest as I go) that I need stubs for? If Mays and Chipper don’t become unblocked, I don’t think there is.
