I think the general thought is that it'll be Tatis. It could be someone else like a legend, but if it's a current player I can't imagine anyone other than Tatis. Maybe Freeman I suppose.
Also, if they were to keep in line with the timing of last year, I think we'd more likely see it when Finest cards are out, and I haven't seen anything about them being here next week.

First off, another current player could be Soto?
I was thinking that, for more content, they don't do it with Finest. But there is a good chance they do. -

Tatis, Soto or Freeman are my guesses. I know I'm not exactly going out on a limb here. Dark horse candidate would be deGrom if he somehow wins a 3rd straight CY Young even tho I don't think he will.

He won't. Otherwise your would be correct, he would be a good pick. He even referenced that he probs won't win his third in a row after his last start, a bad one.

For obvious selfish reasons, I'd love to get like Luis Robert, Lucas Giolito, or Tim Anderson on the cover -- but I know that none of those guys are "household names" quite yet that will sell copies and kick off The Show's first year going cross-platform with The Show 21 releasing on the Xbox and PC.
With that in mind, I'd love to see multiple legends on the cover. Maybe they could get Hank Aaron, Pedro Martinez, Roberto Clemente, and Randy Johnson's rights and put all of them on the cover including other legends like Griffey Jr., Mantle, Bob Gibson, and Frank Thomas. I would love that!

Under the condition that IF you preorder, you can pick your cover between the 3 players...
It would really tick me off if say Clemente was on the cover of X-Box and I didn’t have the option to get him on the cover of PS4.
