Ok SDS... Perfect-Perfect needs to be fixed.

Perfect-perfect's are fine... It's the timing on "goods" and "early" hits
-
Ok when yellich hits a perfect perfect off a righty and it barely makes the warning track, but tony gywnn with 65 power hits a good good no doubter, it’s bs
-
You do realize that if they did this that good players would be batting like .500-.600. Getting one or two every 9 inning game I’d understand you being mad but if you get 7-10 a game You’re being rewarded. I’d bet my average is over .650 still on perfect perfects, when I kept track.

Sds need fix gameplay but thay sux changed hitting after 3 days and never fix it
-
I can see it now. MLB The Show 21. @SDS why is every perfect/perfect a HR? Or a base hit? Just because a guy hits the ball spot on doesn't mean it's always a hit. I'm going back to The Show 20.

My last game log, perfect-perfect flyout with Sheffield against a lefty (124 power) at Rogers Center.
Maybe Rogers Center has a secret?
Now that I think about it... Rogers is where I hit PP to center with walker that didn't even reach the track....

Game plays like hot garbage when every perfect swing is an XBH or HR. If they made it harder to get perfect fair enough, but when they rewarded good swings at a high rate earlier in the year, I got sick and tired of playing games with 50 combined hits and 35 combined runs. “Oh and could it be? Back to back to back to back to back home runs!” Nah, I’m good thanks. I don’t want to sit there for months while my opponent hits endless home runs and congratulates himself on getting rewarded at a decent rate. That’s worse than perfect line outs any day of the week, it makes me sick tbh.
-
A perfect perfect liner should not be caught? Lol. So, if you hit a perfect perfect liner right at a diamond left fielder in the game he should just move out of the way? Or let it hit his face? Cause its a perfect perfect liner? Lmao. This game is seriously just a hr derby already, can't always get a prize in life young man
-
Well IRL this year I believe it was Stanton who hit a 117mph liner that was an out. Sooooooo yeah.
-
There are plenty of perfectly hit baseballs in the MLB that go for outs, especially liners. I also get frustrated when a P-P ends up being an out, but generally speaking I end up catching an equal amount of breaks on the other side that makes it all even out. Plus one or two swings shouldn’t be the end all be all in the game anyway.

I personally would love this! If we're playing online against other humans, we should be rewarded for skill. If you, me, or anyone playing the game can get perfect timing, perfect contact constantly, they should be rewarded by hitting .600+ and scoring tons of runs. That shows their incredible skill. At the same time, pitching should work the same way. Perfect input should put the pitch right where it was aimed.
Before someone asks, well what happens if both people execute perfectly, who's input is more important? The obvious answer is the hitter. Pitchers make perfect pitches IRL that get smashed because hitters make perfect contact. It doesn't mean there are never line outs on those hits or scorched ground outs, but the perfectly hit fly balls by almost any MLB hitter with decent pop leaves the ball park these days.
The real solution is to make the PCI smaller and actually matter. If the PCI is not on the ball, it should be a swing and miss EVERY SINGLE TIME. If that happened hitting would change drastically. It would eliminate people fouling off tons of pitches that are nowhere near the zone. Sorry for the long post.

Alright people, I KNOW for fact that it isn't just a me thing, Perfect-Perfect outs need to be NON-EXISTENT. PERIOD. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. If you hit a perfect-perfect flyball WITH 125 POWER it should be a no-doubt homer EVERY time. No matter what. Any don't even get me started with the perfect-perfect lineouts. I know, perfect-perfect liner is more straight, not much launch angle, but still, THEY SHOULD NOT BE CAUGHT. Perfect-Perfect Grounders make sense for getting caught, since you are hitting it on the ground. But the other two, this is unacceptable. I hope I am not the only one who thinks this should be fixed.
@sds I would really appreciate it if you could take note of this, or at least fix Perfect-Perfect Flyball. Just that change alone would make everyone SO much happier with the game. Thanks.
What do you all think? Do you agree with me? What do you hate the MOST about Perfect-Perfect Outs?
i just wanted to let you know that the way you type / speak etc. online puts you in a perfect position to get a job at Buzzfeed
it reads very clickbait hats off to you for coming up with that certain tone
perhaps a used car salesman could also suit you well too

oh boy, here we go again

P-P grounders go for outs ALL the time in baseball. Groundballs are just bad. Most major leaguers who perfectly time a ball and hit it on the ground are mad that it wasn't in the air somewhere.
P-P liners are great if they aren't hit to fielders IRL. But guess what. They do.
Most P-P flyballs should be over the fence in this game (depending on field), but dimensions and weather should come into play.

Ok here is the problem, early and late. Just lost a game due to that. You get good good or perfect and it’s probably an out. But be early and boom homerun or hit. Be late same thing. It’s disgusting that you know if you give up an early hit your giving up a bomb in the next two batters.
-
Perfect perfect on veteran and rookie against the computer usually means an out. My last 5 straight have been out on rookie. It’s almost like I hope I don’t get PP on those difficulties
-
Perfect perfect foul balls need to be gone. I've had so many in this Lou Gehrig 4xbh moment it's ruining it.

Here is the issue, there is zero way to completely stop that from happening unless every good/good and perfect/perfect is a hit and every late and early was an out. Unless those two things are true, there are going to be times where the good is an out and the early isn't. Not saying it can't be tweaked to tone down how often it happens, but it's impossible to make that scenario never happen.
