The kids think he's a rad dude.
Wait, it's Rightous Dude isn't it...been forever since i've seen that movie.
The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, dickheads - they all adore him. They think he's a righteous dude.
Gotcha. I do prefer conquest over showdown for sure.
I'm not a fan of the finest cards. I'm not sure how many will actually crack the lineup, even though they're going to give away a bunch of 99s. But I'm also salty because no Cardinals deserve a 99!
I really wasn’t even trying. He had 99 Jansen as his starter in BR, and I looked dumb in top of first. I hung a pitch in bottom of first that he destroyed to go up 3-0 with only one out. Maybe none. He replayed. I woke up.
He lost 4-3. Only downside was not hitting a homer off him.
I can't pull good cards or play the market.

Lol but I have loved using Greinke and Gray tooWith that Cliff Lee coming out I'm strongly considering a Phillies team build. Could be competitive in RS, to a point.
Ill put my Braves theme team against anyone.
Just checked out how a Braves team would look. Mighty nice. As in real life, bullpen could be Achilles heel. Didn’t really look at it.
I think the lineups between the two (Cards and Braves) match up fairly well. But I still need some key players (namely Hornsby) to round out my squad.
Our bullpen is legit top 2 in the MLB this year. That doesn't exactly translate to DD. The bullpen is the only place that I cheat using non braves Sheilds. I have the 99 Smoltz but I haven't even prestiged him because I think he's better out of the pen.
96 smoltz
99 Billy Wags(played like 3 seasons in Atl)
Gold mike minor (was drafted by the braves)
Darren oday
Will Smith
Chris martin
82 Steve Bedrosian (still waiting on his higher card?)Rotation right now is
Prestige Maddux
Sig Glavine
96 Ian Anderson
94 Kyle Wright
92 Max FriedI really wanted a high overall Soroka this year so that was sad but the team for sure plays.
Hated seeing Soroka go down.
Considered Ottavino on Cards for same reason you have Minor.
This is pen projection for now: RP - Henke (97), Eck (93), Izzy (85), Smith (94), Holland (94), Sutter (83), GG (83), Miller (91)
Won’t get Miller. Hoping Sutter gets an upgraded card like Smith and Holland get tomorrow. Need lefties though.
I’m pulling diamonds left and right. Sure, they’re all Luke Voit LS, but they’re diamonds.

You know it will be purchasable on the market, right?
We can't all flip like you.

I didn’t say anything about the OFs arm. I’m talking about your inability to make a perfect throw. It takes a whoooooooole lot less skill than hitting. I love seeing an opponent make an error. I can beat them almost every time, and I’m terrible.
Did you miss the part where I said I use buttons? It has nothing to do with ability. You press a button and the game does math to decide whether the throw is good or not. Ability does not enter into it.
Also, the thread is about bunting with a power hitter, not how good you are at defense.
If you use buttons, then you lack skill. Plain and simple.
The thread is about you whining about getting beat because someone chose to score off of you on a bunt after your lack of skill put a runner on third. It’s BR. You get that runner in.
Play with accuracy and you won’t have the problem. If I see someone make an error, I assume they suck.

Maybe it was a smart play. I mean the guy won, right?
My point was, and is, I would not bunt with Harmon Killebrew.
The outfielder’s arm didn’t come into it. It was a perfect bunt past the pitcher’s mound. Nobody fielded it before the run scored.
It wasn’t about testing my fielding. It was about scoring a run when you are struggling to hit.
If he wanted to test my arm, he would have tried to get the ball into the outfield to score on a sac fly.
THAT is what I would have done. If it failed, I would be fine with that, knowing I did a baseball thing in a baseball game.

It was a smart play. If you can’t make accurate throws, then I’m testing your fielders. Accuracy is the easiest thing in the game. The run doesn’t score if you know how to play defense.
So you made an error that got runner to third, but it’s his fault that runner scored? Sounds like the wrong one is getting the blame here. If someone makes an error, they’re a poor fielder. I’d force them to make a throw too.
With all the free stubs about to drop, the ones on the market will sell.
Was looking into flipping him, ultimately decided not to, but then accidentally bought him. 800k down the drain. Any solution to this? Email SDS? Ask someone kindly to buy it off of me?

I'm down with Lynn. He and Gallen at least help the Cardinals all-time team. (Gallen never pitched for the major league team, but at least it wasn't the stretch I made with Scherzer being on there for a while.)
Arozarena
Gallen
Voit
Lynn
Pham
AlcantaraLot of Ls and backfires for the Cardinals front office
meh. Here's how I look at it.
Lynn had a chance to be with the Cards long term. They wanted it. He didn't. He chose to just sign a 3-year deal through his arbitration years. He was good in first year. He was hurt his second year. He was average after that. He was okay the year after he left. They tried. His choice.
Gallen and Alcantara were both known to be good. Ozuna (a player I didn't want) was going to cost a lot in the trade. Then Ozuna flopped.
Voit is best right where he's at. He's not very good outside of his home stadium. It fits best with his profile. I'm happy with Gallegos.
Pham? Bad eyes. Worse attitude. I don't miss him. Neither did Tampa. And SD won't next year after they move on from him.
Arozarena is good. Is he what we've seen so far? Absolutely not. Lots of guys burst on the scene and fade. There's no way his HR/FB or ISO holds. Yes, he would have helped this year. I still like Liberatore overall.
Missed on some? Sure, but it's not as bad as most believe.
Hayes played in half the games that Moran did, and he was more than 3 times more valuable.
