Give us the customizable stadiums, take advantage of the power of the next PS and Xbox. Year after year we thought this feature would come to Ps4 in DD, but it never did. This feature is a must in the Show 21 now that it will be on all consoles.

Forget stadiums, how about maybe some consistent hitting, some kind of fielding that isn't horrible and pitching where user input matters!

I think that would be everyone's ideal situation. However, they will probably only use the ps5's power to make the card art more sparkly!

I'm all about ambition, but a game where there aren't multiple stupid errors an inning might be a more realistic jumping off point.

TBH all this positive RNG for the lesser player the last couple years has probably been paving the way to climax next year when it gets an influence of new players and SDS wants them to stick around. It has been comically noticeable how much the online H2H gameplay has changed the last couple years. I guarantee this is why. So maybe after everyone gets aboard we will see something better in the future. But who knows?

I hope you guys get something better. I'm not sure what type of games I will be playing on the ps5 yet. Most likely some shooters, rpgs and cyberpunk looks good. I'm done with the sports games except for maybe golf.
Find something you can allow yourself to enjoy in your precious spare time.

    SDS: puts in create-a-stadium

crowd: "WHY DO PEOPLE CREATE SUCH CHEESY STADIUMS?!? IT RUINS THE COMPETITIVE BALANCE! TAKE THEM OUT!!!"

Idk what the deal is with stadium builds and stuff. If I wanted to build a ton of [censored], I’d buy Sim City

Lol didn’t think about this much till now.. but right?! Some people and their choice of colors for jerseys might say it all.. I’ll just be annoyed if they don’t limit what you can do for the hitters eye.. could see that being a huge problem. Might just have to start being home team every game to avoid it lol

Or if you stock your team full of lefty batters knowing the RF wall is 8 feet high and the LF wall is 80 feet high.

Or you make the whole wall 80 feet high, put down a slick, turf infield, and make your entire lineup bunting speedsters.

There's SO much mischief one could get into with create-a-stadium that it's honestly not worth the hassle.

If they did Create-a-stadium it would be for offline franchise. No way they do it for online without some major parameters. I could see customizable stadiums for DD though. They could add more minor league fields and allow the user to change some of the color schemes in certain areas and logo or add placements. That'd be about all I could see create a stadium getting for online.

Let's be real though. In the 7 games we've had on PS4, we got ...

Graphics: life like skin tones, dynamic lighting, more detailed stadium textures, new people in the crowd, more detailed dugout phones and roofs, and better looking hair.

Presentation: 2 different commentators (only one stuck and very little change in main commentary since PS3), new in game score bugs, and new hit feedback (that rarely makes sense)

Gameplay: New hitting engines every year since 17 (I don't think users have been thrilled with any of them), seemingly more RNG result[censored]ting and pitching, new animations, better reacting infielders (generally) when it comes to tags and animation branching, and a plethora of new HR swings and stances

Content: Removal of season mode, removal of many offline franchise features, added retro mode, many new ways to play in DD, and a good amount of exciting new legends.

Some things people wanted that were never addressed through the entire game cycle, quality updates to offline franchise, more engaging commentary, better OF animations that allow for urgency (this got a little better), player models (slightly with body types, but nothing major), dynamic uniforms (they've been the same stagnant uni's since PS3), probably lots of other things too.

My point, if you're expecting them to make major overhauls, you're going to be greatly disappointed. It's kinda evident that the game got polished up a bit graphically (stadiums were the focus all system cycle) and became focused on DD content and player balancing.

I would really like them to add jersey cards that we could equip and use.Have a ton for each team over the years so that you don’t have to create so many different ones depending your mood. Have different tiers and collection rewards for even more rare uniforms.

Lol you’re so negative, you sat here for two years talking as much [censored] about online franchise as you could. Never played it....still don’t, now you care about the online competitive balance? Lmao you complain more about what might happen that people do what does happen.

I wasn't running down the concept of OF, just pointing out the fact that it was the least-played mode by a substantial amount and SDS would be wise to prioritize their efforts towards modes that people actually use.

Now that we have OL and people seem to be using them: great. Wonderful! Let peace and happiness abound.

The only way you can care about competitor balance online is by caring about online franchise? I don’t care about online franchise at all, didn’t know that meant I can’t care about competitive balance online

yea im with you i could care less but thats the great part about Ultimate Team games, theres something for everyone. Like how cool would it be if you start DD and you have to create your team logo, color, stadium, nickname, mascot. It would feel more like MY TEAM. Get away from the dumb banners and icon [censored]. Give more customization to other areas
