My big problem is I swing at garbage on AS, and on HOF I don't. I don't know if it's the smaller PCI, or the faster pitch speed... but I chase wayyyyy less. Now this has only been in HOF events and in online casual, I have yet to play an RS game on HOF because I can't get past AS. I have now been in and out of 700's several times, but yet to play another HOF opponent.. Yet I seem to get matched up with them a lot once I drop back into the 600's. I just got destroyed by a high 800's guy using a temp name. Again did not matter where I pitched it, out of the zone low, away, crushed.

You need to learn Scottish , Scottish learnt = Legendary MLB player
Are u sayinf all star is harder?? (Hell)
allstar is harder when it comes to getting perfect perfects or getting rewarded for hits. The bigger pci causes crappy exit velocity more often than on higher difficulities. The pitch speed and smaller pci(which allows less [censored] hits) is what separates the good players.

I finally made it to DS last night as well. Promptly lost the next game 5 - 4 and am back where I belong in WC lol

So there is a remedy to HOF difficulty. Before you play a HOF game go to custom practice and change difficulty to legendary, than go to your sliders and ramp up pitch speeds on fastballs to the highest you can. Then watch the next 20 pitches. Don’t swing just watch. By watching you are training your eye to see the pitch. After 20 pitches restart the custom practice session so you reset the pitchers confidence. And then begin swinging at pitches using contact hitting input. Once you’ve gotten used to the speeds than start regular swing input. I don’t suggest you use power swings in HOF or higher as you lose even more pci. If you practice this way I guarantee you’ll begin to hit much better.

I played in HOF this morning because the guy I played was rated 702. He was home and I put up 12 runs. I never do that. Thought it was weird. I couldn't hit my spots and gave up a walk off in the bottom if the 9th. 13-12 loss. guess I know I can hit in HOF!

I dont get how these top players like koogs, bengal, etc play on this. And HIT OVER 300!!! how TF!!!
Congrats! I got to 680 and fell back again after a 3-2 loss...

Twice I have gotten to 798 and lost,.....that has been followed by a cold streak that puts me low 700s and I never get close again.... if my 9 year old son hits and I pitch, we can compete. With most...when I have to hit at those higher levels, forget. It...

I thought the setting is based on the lower rated player. So, under your scenario, you were playing on All Star.
Can anyone confirm? I always have trouble when I'm over 700 figuring out the setting for the first inning or so. Is there any other way to find this out before the game starts?
