Players you were late on

For me, I wish I would've listened to my gut when I first hit Silver 1 and went with Barry Larkin (Silver Slugger Awards) instead of Reggie Jackson then Buster Posey, and then Minnie Minoso. His swing is a thing of beauty and it pains me to think I cycled through so many shortstops until SS Jimmy Rollins came along and I finally unlocked Larkin and Sandberg with my two picks at Diamond 99.
The other card I was late on was one I know is very popular and that is Larry Walker. For whatever reason, after I struggled with him in Showdown a bit, I wrote him off completely. Recently, I picked him up finally and man, that card straight up rakes! I'm glad I have him now and while it's not like I was struggling to find outfielders I was doing well with, it's just that Walker is seriously a top-3 card in the game, at least in my opinion.
So, what are some cards you guys were late coming around to?

When Matt Weiters dropped to 20K months ago I always wanted to buy him. Wound up getting him for like 60K a few weeks back and haven’t regretted it. I was also very hesistant and trying to be cheap as heck for grinding for mick until I bit the bullet and just got him. Worth every penny!

I think I've been one of the loudest advocates that the Awards series Matt Wieters is the best catcher in the game (and IMO it isn't even close) so I'm glad I can count you among the good guys, @mrKoala123 .

Haha nice.

I took Minoso as my last in that choice pack - Reggie was first. I kinda wish I'd taken Minoso before Reggie.

Dibble. Bought him a couple days ago. He’s been excellent.

Rollins is fire!

Brett at 3B, just put him there recently, better D than Sheffield and Chipper, has sneaky power.
Carew, used his gold card in last eve t, using his Diamond in this one, oh man that swing is beautiful.

Larkin should so have 90+ fielding and reaction. It’s upsetting.

Honestly, making a CAP. I decided to make one for the first time over the weekend. I'm now sad that I've never tried it sooner. My CAP SS is never leaving my lineup. He's the best hitting SS in the game and plays Jimmy Rollins level defense.

I have a fielding-focus SS CAP with top end equipment, J Roll has a slight edge in power, vision, and Disc but CAP beats him out everywhere else. 99s across the board for DEF and SPD, only switched to Rollins since I’m a Phils fan. SS CAP still the best for that position

i waited and got weiters in the 30's... i regret it lol. I just cant seem to do anything with this card... like batting low 100's bad.
-
Technically everyone since I'm pretty slow at completing programs and getting new players lol.
I guess Walker for me. I went Mo when I got the boss and sold him as I was still chasing Mantle...When I had the stubs I re-bought Mo first because I needed bullpen help and I was using Sheff in RF with Chipper at 3B and they were both doing well (Sheff with some more glaring fielding issues).
Eventually bought Larry for like 145k 2 weeks ago or something and hes been awesome. I also thought i was overpaying a bit as prices were starting to fall but now I see these bosses are all way up again with him and Mo being almost 200k? (Market is weird this year)
