Angrier than ever about the astros garbage now

The commisioner has come out and said HE FAILED. He called the World Series trophy a PIECE OF METAL. How incompetent can they be? The most OBVIOUS AND FAIR thing to do is vacate the 2017 world series. This isnt going away until they re-address it. Players are fuming, other teams in the league are fuming, and people are walking out on the sport again. I seriously dont get it

He’s a wimp, plain and simple. As spineless as they come. Goodell is loving all this, knowing for once he isn’t the most hated commissioner in the country.
He’s so clueless that he doesn’t realize the things he says just make people more and more upset. Nothing but sheer incompetence.
Players won’t let this go until a title gets vacated, or players get banned.
And telling teams “Hey, don’t hit these guys pretty please” isn’t going to do anything. Bring on the concussions. They deserve the worst.
If Manfred cares so much about the safety of Astros players, he’d punish them himself before they get hurt. But it’s too late for that now.

The commissioner is in a tough spot. Can't take the title away and can't suspend anyone because of the immunity/players association. Just like Bud S. couldn't take away the roid user's stats/records/awards.

More than likely no winner. It would be hard to justify giving it to the dodgers over the Yankees, and vice versa.

I agree. This commissioner is a pu55y. If you use steroids, rightfully so, you get suspended and most not put in the hof. Know what pitch is coming and get absolutely nothing. At the bare minimun the 2017 WS should have been vacated and at least some kind of suspension for the players.
The players will police this. Problem is this joke of a commissioner will address Astros players getting plunked at some point. Therefore, making the pitchers look like the bad guys instead of the clowns that cheated.
Also like seeing these players on top of lists like the top 100 and 10 best at their position. Do we even know how good they really are? I expect players stats to certainly fall some.

I could'nt agree more with most everyone on here! This IS NOT going away. They are CHEATERS!!! Vile scum of the first order!!! They should be banned forever!!! Pete Rose NEVER cheated!!!! He bust his freakin tail as hard as he could EVERY play and he's not allowed in the Hall. The Cheaters........get no punishment whatsoever?!?!!??!?!? I understand the problem with the union and I don't care!! The union can't possibly condone cheating!!! If I'm Tony Clark, I turn my back on these losers!!! Let the beaning begin!!!
