A ton of my games don't even last 3 innings. Either the connection for me is good and they quit or I get fed up throwing non-stop hr derby down the middle. Sure would be nice to play a game I don't know the outcome in the 1st inning. I just want a fair and level playing field. Doesn't matter if I go 2-100 or 100-2, I want 95 to look like 95 every game. Not once every 3 games. Pretty simple request really.

I am in a suburb of a big city. I've said it could be my internet but zero issues with other games and very low ping. Usually around 30.
Why do you think the higher you go, a ton of people quit if they are not the home team? You can think all you want that it is because people want to hit last but it isn't. It is because there is lag in the lineup screen. Match people with [censored] connections against other people with [censored]. Not a hard concept. People pay between $60-100 for the base game. I truly believe they would make more money on stubs if people felt it was a level playing field. Their solution is to cross platform. This is not the answer.
People troll and think I really get offended by what they say. I don't. My solution is fair to EVERYONE.

Totally agree. I understand why people back out if they are not the home team. I believe the internet connection plays a huge part in how the game plays. Just not sure the solution for it other than better servers. I’d like to believe if they had a solution, they would of implemented it by now.

Bro, you're choosing to play a video online against other online users. There is going to be lag! This is not a new thing lol. Lag has been in existence since internet gaming began. It will always be there. In what freaking world do you think the internet that you pay for is any better than the internet that other people pay for? Bitching about it on a forum for one video game isn't going to do anything. Why don't you go take on the cable companies and internet providers that have monopolies in certain areas. Your internet isn't even that good if your lagging as often as you say you are. I only back out of games if the lineup screen is lagging real bad, maybe 20% of the time I back out and I dont ever get 3 bad games in a row ever.... maybe 1 bad game out 4. I dont really understand how lag makes you throw everything down the middle???? If your throwing every ball down the middle well that's on you, not someone else's internet.

So get better at pitching. I have fiber, cables are less than 2 years old, directly to the house. I'm hard wired to my ps4. My ping is extremely good, almost zero packet loss. I don't hang pitches, and I certainly don't throw balls down the middle.
This is a you problem, so...practice and get better at pitching, or quit. You're choice.

Are you able to check your ping and packet loss for this game, or do you just mean in general? Does ping have to do with the proximity to a server, or does it have to do with your internet speed?
