Isn't it ironic that we mock a brilliant man over something that he has zero skill in whatsoever, but was ignored completely in the field of expertise he excels in.
yankees mate yankees

You know what's sad is...if they released a Dr. Fauci card for next inning I wouldn't be shocked.
Although they could be too busy creating a " Draft Busts " Series...you know, a " what if " card with stats if there career went as expected.
Wait that would actually just be the opposite of the futures cards...hmmm....what do you think Sds maybe we can give these guys a second chance at glory?? Draft busts series ...yea or nay??

I'm not mocking him for his skill. Probably has a decent windup. It's more that it's quickly become one of the best selling Topps cards that creates a strong tension in between my ears. Not personally attacking him. Just the "moment" of this whole situation really.

If that explanation was 2.9 seconds later this whole community would have come for you. Lol...strange days

I know, I also didn't take it that way. I was speaking in general, he was being mocked all over social media by the type of people who a few happen to be active on these forums as well. I won't mention any names, but I'm sure you have a general idea which guys I might be talking about.

I don't care what y'all say I will trot my Fauci card with 79 mph Sinker and 45 mph Sweeping Curve any day. Dude has put in decades fighting crazy diseases and he actually follows science.

The guy that laughed at people wearing cloth masks, said not to wear them and they only give you a false sense of security? Who then turned around and said oh no everyone wear the mask? But tried to excuse it by saying he wanted to reserved made at home cloth masks for medical workers? But also told people don't fidget with it that can be harmful and was on camera doing just that? Then as soon as cameras go off he rips it off and talks to people? Who then threw out the first pitch with a mask in the middle of a field but them took it off while yucking it up shoulder to shoulder in an otherwise empty section with a friend of his (and his wife but who cares)?
Oh yeah... That guy is a friggin genius.

Crossing my fingers that his Prestige level card is the "secret" card SDS announces tomorrow.

Fauci is a fraud who got rich selling his influence to pharmaceutical companies. Read up on the guy. Hes a politician more than a doctor.
He says what he is paid to say, and when there isnt directly money at stake, he says what ever is most politically expedient. He doesnt give a rats [censored] about science.
And Finally --- The guy has been wrong about everything. Go back to March. Everything he said was wrong. Like a snake oil salesman he says just keeps talking until you hear something you like or eventually stumbles onto a correct answer two months later. The news media puff pieces should be a clue that he is garbage. If they love him, he is necessarily a liar and a phony.
Get your information from real scientists. I suggest Stanford and their clinical virology lab. Theyve been on the data since day one......but the pandemic has never been about that, so the media virtually ignores their findings.
Stick to real numbers. The CDC has good data, but ignore them when they speak publicly. Their words are political but their information is good.
Also, listen to doctors from hospitals caring for COVID patients. People on the ground, actually doing the work. They are often telling a totally different story than elitists like Fauci and his fans in the media.
Oh, and never trust a guy who looks like he has never thrown a ball before.....AND accepts an offer to throw out the first pitch at a MLB game. Its a sign of a galactic level of narcissism and pathological hubris, plus.....
Dude cant throw.
Enough said. -

Ignored completely? I wouldn't say making drastic changes to the economy and putting over 11 million people out of work is ignoring him completely. Swing and a miss.

Well just being honest, some of his medical advice and take backs combined with that first pitch should be extremely concerning to most Americans.

I see they came out in forces. Shame this seems to be the general perception of certain people, but to each their own. That's the beauty of freedom, we can agree to disagree.

I sympathize with Fauci because I'm also an expert in my field and it's also at the forefront of the nation, and people disregard my thoughts on the subject.

People will often disregard both facts and opinions whenever it doesn't fit their ideology or deeper laying motives. Unfortunately many things have turned black and white (no pun) and people are no longer open to the grey area of things. Sort of a "you're either with us or against us" mentality. And if you're with us, you can not open up to anything that suggests otherwise, regardless of the topic at hand. That's how toxic society has become.

Agreed.
It's disappointing how people can't come together and civilly discuss different points of view.
The stem is a lack of critical thinking from my observations.

He called Miami, the Miami Dolphins this morning on GMA. George had to correct him. They both got a chuckle.
