Lol. Troy blue Jay's reliever. It's Tom Henkie. But me imagining KevinGoHD reading this has me in stitches.

SDS

17, 18, 18, 19, 21, 20, 21... Nice list, but your counting ability could improve as it should add up to 30.

It was too long, fixing it now

SDS

I’d move Brock, Yount, and Henke above Buhner at #11. Otherwise I agree for the most part.

Kaline at #7 is questionable though. He does look great on paper but I’ve never liked his swing and don’t know if anyone has thought a Kaline card actually played up to his ratings.

SDS

Good list, close to what I would have...I have Eric Davis #1, but I am biased. Lol

SDS

@xElRojo44x Davis looks good and has a good swing. The stance takes time to get used to however. @genopolanco Kaline has an average swing for me but may be different for you. He could be 10-12 though. Buhner always plays well and has a great swing for me. He also has gold defense with a 99 arm. I don’t know how Henke plays but he could very well be ahead of Buhner, Yount may be above Buhner however. Brock is never good in the game for me, no power or defense but his card this year is better then previous years so maybe he is different.

SDS

I have Wood number 1. No reason other than I am a Cubs fan.

SDS

Poor Catfish. He's last on a list like this every year.

SDS

Personally for me Yount is near the bottom, I'd rather play either Didi, Correa or Jazz Chisholm at SS over him. That and Al Kaline are the only things I disagree with but thats just my opinion. If you really like their swings I definitely understand the higher placement.

SDS

People are sleeping on kendall. Last year kendall and mccann were my catchers. Kendall May suffer in this years game due to the meta being power

SDS

I've only played with Salmon & Thome. But, Thome absolutely destroys the ball.

SDS

Lou Brock is usually really nice to hit with. I would put him higher probably.

SDS

Might consider Leiter and Yount a bit higher. Otherwise looks reasonable.

Poor Jays fans.

SDS

I think you might have Kerry Wood, Al Leiter, and Tom Henke way too low. I haven't used those cards yet but on paper, they should be just below John Smoltz and A.J. Burnett.

I hope you're right about Dawson and Thome. Those are the two cards I'm going for right now.

Thome is a beast and it was only a small sample size but Dawson carried my team in showdown so good choices.

SDS

I'm hitting great with Brett, grwnted sample size is skewed from moonshot.. But hit for the cycle in rs in one game.. Gwynn rakes for me... 2 hrs in 2 games.. Just started with Davis.. Game one 2 for 3 with a hr and a sb..

SDS

Nice list, though Smoltz and Wood should be reversed -- they're two of the only ones I have and have thrown them both 3 times, and Wood with his cutter seems top tier. Smoltz gets hit hard.

SDS

On paper and with position scarcity heavily weighted, I think I'd rank them like this:

#1 - Orel Hershiser
#2 - Jim Thome
#3 - Kerry Wood
#4 - Andre Dawson
#5 - A.J. Burnett
#6 - John Smoltz
#7 - Al Leiter
#8 - George Brett
#9 - Eric Davis
#10 - Tom Henke
#11 - Al Kaline
#12 - Tony Gwynn
#13 - Harmon Killebrew
#14 - Mike Schmidt
#15 - Juan Marichal
#16 - Jeff Bagwell
#17 - Paul Konerko
#18 - Robin Yount
#19 - Matt Williams
#20 - Fred McGriff
#21 - Michael Young
#22 - Jay Buhner
#23 - Dwight Evans
#24 -Lou Brock
#25 - Jason Kendall
#26 - Jim Palmer
#27 - Tim Salmon
#28 - Catfish Hunter
#29 - Don Mattingly
#30 - Dante Bichette

Kendall is killing it. 3 HR in ranked, sprays everywhere, moves runners when needed. Only weakness is arm strength.

SDS

Might be sleeping on the Crime Dog. I'm hitting well with him though offline. Who knows if it will translate to online.

I know. It's unfortunate. He's deservedly in the Hall of Fame. Meanwhile 16 out of the 30 guys listed are on the outside looking in.

So his cutter his usable? The stats look pretty terrible, my one concern is that he would be susceptible to lefties.

Kerry Wood was amazing last year so that is why I have faith in him again

I'm curious how the 1B position will ultimately shake out with all the options released here for Stage 3.

I've always preferred lefty bats at 1B but I haven't been a fan of the "Crime Dog's" swing in year's past. Since I had the Rays done up to Stage 2 anyway, I'll probably get McGriff before too long.

Keep in mind that both my list that I posted and the OP's list (I'm pretty sure) are based on the actual attributes and our experience with past versions of the player. In year's past, Catfish's pitches were really straight and very easy to pick up. It's possible that he's better this year with this specific card.
