Looks nice but I don’t see myself removing Posey from C for him.
Good thing is Carter got multiple positions, 1st base, LF and RF. U can move him around. Bench bat. He can def make my team. I hope Piazza is a Met this yr as well. Knowing the curve they threw with Carter not being an Expo/Nat, they might make Mike a Dodger

Haha, the old 5 games special edition card!
Ngl that carter cards looks cheeks imo, only good hitting wise against lefties and will be most likely god awful against righties with 70s contact. Fielding is okay but why choose him when posey seems better at everything

Looks like we have a San Fran fan here
It's nice, but I thought he might have had a bit better defense than he does.
His price tag might stop me from using him anyways though

Dont sleep, he got a good swing and even if his contact is low, his power passes the threshold for righties as well, and got high vision

Mike Piazza will always be a Dodger
You’re right, he single handedly lifted the spirits of 80000 people in LA, many more than in NY in an otherwise meaningless September game. Oh and he led LAD to 5 playoff appearances and 3 WS rather than the 2/1 in NY.

Piazza took the Dodgers to the WS? When?

Never. Better stats as a Met, enshrined in the HOF as a Met. U can dream and see what u see, but we all know, he will be forever known as a New York Met

The 8th inning game winning home run against the Braves, first game back after 9/11, made him a Met for life!

He was one of only four captains in our teams entire history. If you can afford him, not starting him over bust my leg Posey is blasphemy.
Piazza is a Met period! He loved NY and is still a big part of the franchise. LA was a pit stop for his greatness. The HR against the Braves after 9/11 cemented his legacy as a NY sports icon. I even cried that night when baseball returned and he blasted a bomb to help heal our great city, country.
He’s a Met, period!
