The front door/backdoor cutter is your friend. Also the cutter in on the hands like Mo used to do is your friend. Don't think of it like a slider because it's not.

Cutters mixed in with sliders and hardballs are nice. Cutters tend to throw people off balance when going for sliders next. 2 cutters away low, followed by a slider away and then some hard chin music....muah! italian fingers

I love the cutter. In on the hands is good for a K or jam, cutter away is good for getting a rolled over grounder, backdoor/front door cutter is a good sneak attack pitch. It's all about sequencing and how you use it.

Try using cutters like 2-seamers and you'll see how effective they can be.

You can nab inside strikes or outside strikes, because hitters will give up on them.

Regarding inside cutters to opposite-handed batters, be smart about when you throw them and keep your opponent off-balance.

We all get screwed by the occasional errant pitch, especially the "perfect release" that misses by a foot: that can happen to any pitch, though.

I have always found it easy to get the cutter up in the zone just on the corner with RH pitchers it is coming in on the lefties hands and worst thing you get is a walk or hit him.

Nothing more useless in this game than the cutters. You get hitters to chase and to swing early on them and you still getting smashed. Smh!

    2 seamers are worst.

The backdoor cutter that starts outside and breaks in towards the plate is a dangerous pitch to be used very carefully IMO. Not many mlb pitchers attempt that one because of the likelihood of leaking over the middle.

Based on the new trailer, I have a feeling cutters are going to play a big part in MLBTS 20.
