Guys running past 2nd base on doubles

My take on this is it must be lag related.
The other side of it is if you try to use the left stick and the triangle button, half the time your runner seems to stop at first.
So you can overrun second and get thrown out, or stop at first on a ball hit off the wall.

If you actually want to know what happened so you can try avoid it, you hit the ball but slightly kept your thumb on the analog stick without realizing (or bought a new controller with analog drag already being an issue) giving you control of the base runner, you then hit X to skip passed the batter animation before it was available like almost everybody who plays this does, and the runner got sent to X which would be home.
They have a lot of bad animations but when you run past third and go home like you said, or he is being sent home from anywhere, it’s caused by that. Taking control of the base runner and hitting X. It doesn’t happen all the time because the analog stick needs to be held directly at the base runner when you press X but the other posts are just blindfolded shots at SDS and trolls that don’t play the game.

Um, I don’t think so.

When you send a runner HOME from in between first and second it’s because you took control of him with the analog stick and hit HOME via the X button. The game doesn’t just decide to send you home.
You're describing something completely different than him, but if your having problems stopping at second when your base runner is in between first and second and you see “3rd” and know he’s going to round second for no reason, you can actually do the exact opposite of what you think and hit L1 and it will change from 3rd to 2nd base even though it’s suppose to mean advance, these things don’t make sense but it’s better to master the broken issue as opposed to hoping SDS fixes it.

Sticky buttons.
Sticky Fingers
Great album!

It happens to me at the worst times and it’s on me because I’ve been playing for years but do not pay attention to individual runners as much as I should. Having said that, taking the risk to try for 3rd should be my choice and not the default. I know that I can stop him but no major leaguer would run to 3rd at those moments.

When lag is present, it doesn’t matter what you press on the controller.

Ran myself out of innings for the entire month of March and half of April! I focus on the lead runner and hope he's not too slow; i'll use fast utility players late in the game.

wastnt a sticky button dude cause he even blew through 3rd and got thrown out @home
I've experienced this more than once.
My opinion...the AI code gets so hung up on leveraging a game one way or the other...it actually produces ridiculous outs and impossible game play. Just another of many moments that make you go...hmmmmm.
How about the run-down situation where you have a slow (rated anyway) guy hung out to dry half way in between bases..but your 2B will double-even-triple pump a throw and allow the baserunner to slide in safely. Another sign, you're likely going to lose that game.
Good Lord!

SDS please fix when a double is hit and you stop the guy running at 2nd base he continues to run towards 3rd ignoring your command.
This is still happening? I feel like I'm reading a '17 post
