I respectfully disagree. If you aren't paying attention and back out that is your punishment. The player is on the mound and has to pitch to 3 batters once you back out, thats not their fault.

I agree, but again, for the record, I did not back out by mistake. This happened all on its own and is a bug.

But its ok to change pinch hitters, when you've already brought in a pinch hitter, if the other player brings in a different pitcher?

Once you’re on the mound though, you have to pitch to three batters or until the inning ends.
There’s no rule about how many pinch hitters you can bring in.

Lol it’s entirely their fault, they struggle to code the most basic of features and completely fail at difficult ones.

I forget which h2h mode this happens in but when I'm frustrated and don't wana waste my bullpen I try to purposely back out and pitch with my pinch hitter, it refuses to back out. I have no choice but to pick a bullpen arm.
