Anybody try out Alex Wood?

I threw him in my rotations and I’d like to think his funky delivery would throw some people off but he doesn’t throw hard, has low stamina, and doesn’t throw a slider so I don’t have very high hopes. Anybody have success with him?

Havent tried him or giolotto, but want to. Once season resets I will at a lower division

Now I mostly play offline but I actually like him he's in the back end of my rotation right now. Weird delivery throws batters off.

I played against Giolito and absolutely shelled him. You might have a different experience but I found that he’s very easy to pick up

He is now my few innings guy. I pitch with him until he is up in the lineup usually. I started him the other day for 4 innings

Don't think a pitchers delivery can really throw off or fool the CPU. Just saying.

Ok yah fair enough. All i was trying to say is i've made the cpu look bad using Wood a few times. I didn't phrase that well enough the first time.

Herky Jerky motion but with no gas...That's a no from me.

I’ve played one ranked seasons game with him on all star and he threw a 9 inning shutout. Next game he could give up 50, but for whatever reason he was lights out that game.

I used him once, and he was lights out for 3 innings, then gave up 8 runs over the next two. He's no longer in the rotation.

I’ve had to use him in MTO twice and he got lit up both times. Definitely a no go for me lol
