I just lost a game by 1 and I had 3 perfect perfect outs. 8 good squared up outs. 2 errors. Ball 4 on a strike. And my opponent just got all of his runs off early hits/the RNG errors.
Pitching throws balls down the middle.
But I’m glad they fixed retro mode and HRD. Because quarantine is still a thing I will be playing offline only and when I can go back to work this dumpster fire of a game is going into the fire place.
But it’s ok because there’s a new headliner tomorrow

Sure buddy sure :). Even if that is true, you can just read it by your statement, you're just mad you lost. And these types of posts almost always over exaggerate what actually happened, so unless you got proof, I'll take it as an exaggeration.

Game is definitely trash, especially if you are the guest team. I can’t hit when I’m away, but when I’m home i hit decent-good. I lost yesterday because some [censored] hit a wall scraper that the catch circle was on the warning track to get within 1, he then hit a bomb on a pitch I threw in the dirt with perfect pitch feedback, yet the ball magically went to the happy zone instead of where I threw it, in the 9th. Meanwhile I’m Lining out over and over. He has the audacity to say that I suck. Dudes record was 34-47, I’m 30-12 and half my losses are from Connection issues or other general server bs. Such a frustrating game when trash players can beat you consistently. Obviously you may lose to one if you struggle yourself but it happens to often when you are hitting the ball hard for outs and jimmy ball juggler spams square with directional hitting and somehow gets lucky

Online play has become an embarrassment. Last night I "lost" 2 games because of 1) An insanely bad call and 2) A server freeze while I was winning handily. Why in God's name would the winning team get a loss when the server goes down? Makes absolutely no sense. I'm so disappointed in the online version of this game.

I agree, the "good ok's" on great user input are rage inducing. I switched to offline to at least have some fun since that is why is spent money on this steaming pile.

I am considering quitting online play as well. While the trolls in this forum will say "it's because you're not good enough!" it is because I'm tired of glitches, server freezes and cheaters being treated better than honest players.

Me too, SDS will never figure out online game play. Its the Achilles heel of the franchise. It also keeps them form greatness.
