What’s the deal with hitting?

I’m playing on HOF difficulty. Last week before the update I was hitting .306 on the season and rated 895. Now I’m down to 790 and hitting like 270 something on the season. What gives?

I am getting under the ball quite a bit, but for as many balls that I’m getting just under I’m hitting just as many balls that are hit almost perfectly for good/good lazy flyball outs and good/ok (even though It looks like I’m dead center on the ball in the feedback) it feels like I’m hitting with a wet noodle. The ball just doesn’t feel like it’s jumping off of the bat when I make solid contact. I’m not trying to complain I just want to know if you guys have seen your average significantly drop off too. Did I miss something? Was there some change in the latest patch? Idk what’s going on but it’s really starting to frustrate me.

Yes. Big time. I can’t hit anything right now and I’m usually pretty good at the plate. It goes game to game. One game I’ll hit the ball well, next game I’ll strike out 16 times but feel like I had better timing and PCI placement. It’s frustrating

cant hit anything either since the patch. went from 880 rating to like 600 lol

Glad to know I’m not alone!

I'm giving up on the ws this season. They have been trying to fix fielding every patch. But timing windows need work. I'm hoping they don't just leave it how it is

Same! My gosh.. been swinging “late” on everything... feels like there’s an input lag.. something def changed

Kluber must have added some MPH's because I was late on a lot of pitches tonight, but the other day, I was early. It also feels like the left stick is extra sensitive somedays.

Same here. Feels like I can't enjoy RS at all right now. Kind of a bummer.

Week one I was all the way up to 798, hitting around 400 as a team. Patch and I’ve gotten to 787 and that’s it. Hitting is a joke now, it’s either a homerun or an out

What’s the deal with airline food?

I just finished an 8 inning event game, I won luckily. Although I was 0-3 on Perfect-perfect liners. Hit a 2 run hr on good-okay that had no business being hit out. Seemed random.

Hitting is AWEFUL and must be fixed. It is near impossible to hit anything or have consistency with your pci placement and motion. Fastballs seem to have a real quick lag as the swing happens and the ball passes over the plate too. Just awful.

Thank god i came to this forum wanting to write about hitting, I swear I can’t hit anything right now from 757 to 610 in 2 days with 2 runs in 6 games, I normally play 2-3 hours a day but after getting shut out back to back I just stopped not fun anymore
