Anyone else having trouble completing the SS moment with Tatis Jr.? Seems like this guy's first four steps are in mud when he tries to steal.

I’m jumping in here not exactly knowing what mission you are referring to, but if it’s a steal mission, press The analogue back to the bag in case there’s a pickoff. And simultaneously hold R1 to lean toward the base you are stealing. Then flick the analogue To the right when the pitcher heads to the plate. I’m sure you already knew all that though. Missions are just a roll of the dice. Some people get lucky and get it on their first roll, and for other people, it takes an hour. Is there anybody there that can blow on your controller for good luck before starting a mission?

Those took me a while. If I remember correctly, I had better luck stealing third.

Also, I think I did better by not taking an extra step lead off first base. I was successful stealing first by leaning, and getting a good (lucky) jump.

    Good Luck!

Watch the catcher, not the pitcher. The minute you see the catcher set go...even if it's a Quickstep you should still beat it the vast majority of the time

Completed it first time I tried it. The leaning tips helped as well as watching the catcher. That was kind of easy and I feel dumb know lol. Thanks for the help :).
