I can't humour you, but I can sympathise with you. Unless I'm missing something. How long were you holding L2? How many taps of O? What are your fielding throw settings? These might have something to do with it.
I'm certainly not disputing that you've got a case. Those two steps should definitely be ripe for a pick-off.

it is ridiculous, I've had it happen to me before. I have better luck stepping off and catching them running than picking them off.

Look...give me some credit here. I know how to pick a guy off. I don't even lead off anymore online because you'll get picked quick this year.
A guy who I know presses his buttons correct said, "If you take a 2 step lead you're going to get picked every time". Which should be the case, right?.....
Except when you have an all diamond lineup against a level 23 bronze who clearly doesn't know that you're not supposed to take a 2 step lead.
I use button accuracy to answer the question. I tried it all and couldn't pick him off in 7 attempts

That is absolutely hysterical to get the same animation 5 times on 6 PO attempts. Is Morton really that bad at throwing over to first base?

I hit the 3rd base bag yesterday. My opponent fielded it while I was a quarter of the way down the line. He just stood there. I’m definitely sure he was trying to throw the ball. Definitely some quirky stuff goes on.

I like these posts with a video, they make the usual suspects around here disappear lol. Kinda hard to defend something when it’s caught on video.

That's bad.
Were you doing a quick pickoff move or deceptive pickoff move? The only thing i can think of is if Morton is bad at pickoffs and you are attempting a deceptive move each time.

Wow this is a new one. The one I have been experiencing as well is I hit a pitch with good timing but goes foul. Feedback initially says Good/Good but then switches to late/good.
Its happened to me multiple times playing online as well as playing showdown and conquest. I really think they throw some coding to give the lesser skilled player an edge.

That really is embarrassingly bad.
I often switch back to pulse pitching in this situation, and alternate between the three pickoff moves and stepping off. You should have had him.

No offence intended, just trying to help out as I didn’t know how much experience you had. As I said, I reckon you’ve got a case there for a legitimate complaint.

Yeah were you holding circle to try deceptive move or just tapping? Either way that's super frustrating. I know they still have the "Pickoff Artist" quirk for some pitchers (Blake Snell I know), but I wish they had a specific stat for pickoff moves or showed how they rate them. I know Morton's overall fielding stats are pretty poor, but this is silly.
