Wasn’t much of a difference for me, but my results are probably different than yours. I switched from a 32” vizio 1080 tv with game mode to a asus 24” 1ms monitor. Very little difference if any at all.

I noticed a difference. Game runs smoother, but the [censored] is, I'm early on alot of pitchers. It runs that seamless

That’s my problem I’m still getting adjusted even on HOF I’m very early

It's crazy how late I was on certain pitches on my TV and how freaking early I am on my new monitor. It runs beautifully

Offline, I can catch up to anything after getting a monitor. Online, I can catch up sometimes.

    It definitely makes a difference.

Makes a huge difference, I had 60” w 14ms now 1ms monitor, I just enjoy the smaller screen a lot more too, I’m not trying to cover a gigantic strike zone. And it was too much for my eyes to look at. When I want to play the show I have a special gaming area with a comfy office chair and some nice speakers w the monitor to really hear that bat crack. I enjoy it immensely, whole nother level to the game experience. I play better although I did make cs on the tv and close to ws but haven’t made it yet.

Monitors definitely give you a competitive advantage, no doubt.

Monitors will not, however, improve your PCI placement.

I want to invest in one here soon.. right now I have a 46 inch Samsung that’s from 14 or 15 with no game mode. All the modes were suppose to have the same amount of input lag but still. I just wonder what the difference will be. Tvs now are a lot better so the difference probably isn’t as much.

The game was developed and tested on a monitor. I believe, whether they intended to or not, made the game to be played on a monitor. Most monitors have around 10ms of input lag (not response time, mind you) at 1080p at 60hz. Anything that has a greater input lag than that puts you at a disadvantage. Sure, you can compensate to a certain extent, but as the input lag goes up, the less time you have to react and the smaller the margin of error becomes. I just bought a monitor that I have set up in the shadow of my 75 inch Sony. It’s definitely a different experience. You still have to have good pci placement; you still have to sit fastball (kind of); but now I feel like I’m not at a competitive disadvantage. My hitting and my pitching is much better. It doesn’t make you immune to the aspects of the show that drive us crazy, it just doesn’t put you 20ms behind your competition.
