It's more the fact that they are making purchasing cards mandatory to finish programs again.
They are giving you three free players that you can sell. Is it really that big of a complaint?!
You have to collect the cards to finish the program which means you can't sell them.
You get free players along the way. They don’t lose that they are not actionable like the snell card does. Why do you think you can’t sell them?
You have to complete a collection of 6 of the 7 cards (three you get in the program, three you have to purchase) to finish the entire program whether you play online or offline. They get locked once you submit them to the collection. This is nothing new.
Right so you could just take the free three players and sell them.

The card will be obsolete soon, he’s not that hard to hit, if u struggle there let him walk u w that 60 control. Not worth 80k stubs and the grind - hard pass

Guys you don’t have to finish the program. They’re giving you 3 free diamonds. If you want Snell you gotta lock those in and buy a few more. IF YOU WANT SNELL. No one is saying you need to pay for Snell. Alternatively if you don’t care about getting Snell then you can sell your 3 diamonds and get 15-20K for free. Bunch of complainers
