punishing players who refuse to throw strikes?
-
Maybe they’re trying to throw strikes. Do t you think the pitch going where ever it wants is punishment enough.

Does anyone else think they should punish players who just consistently throw balls in the dirt or way above the zone the second they get in a bad situation bc I’m tired of getting runners on and not seeing a single pitch in the strike zone again in the at bat
I love to be punished, I’m a bad boy
-
This is 100% on you. Take pitches until 2 strikes if you can’t lay off balls out of the zone. Don’t just sit there though follow every single pitch with your pci. If after practicing you still can’t lay off those pitches change your batting view.

Nothing annoys me more than people complaining about people throwing balls. It's called discipline. Make the other guy throw strikes, and guess what? He'll throw strikes. Chase curveballs in the dirt and sliders half way to first base all game, and I'll tell you right now that I won't be throwing anything in the strike zone. Why would I? Man, listening to Snell complain about his opponent throwing balls made me turn off his stream last night.
-
op is complaining his opponents don't throw him fastballs down the middle. Hey, OP why don't you throw meatballs down the middle 99% of the time, then lets us know how the game went.
-
This magical thing happens when my opponents start taking balls/walks. I throw strikes. Crazy concept I know. Nobody is going to continually walk somebody.
-
Probably the silliest thread I've seen today. Take the free walks, buddy.
-
Take the walks my dude. Also, they might not be throwing balls on purpose. I am using Gibson to get the 2 Ws for the mission and I struggle mightily throwing srtikes with him.

Hahahaha. I was watching it too and just turned it off as well. Not to mention him saying that he can't wait the Players League to finish because he thinks that is [censored] and he's getting worse because of it.
What a piece of **** Snell is. I hope he gets exposed to MLB for saying [censored] about an online championship they created to entertain fans while there's no baseball being played and gets some punishment.

Yeah the punishment is them walking you.
/thread.

The sad thing is, sometimes I want to throw strikes and I can’t. I’ve walked so many batters this year it is not funny.
But to answer the OP, you’ve got to realize that with RISP, your opponent will try to pitch around you even more.

Ditto, then out comes the hanging pitch smacked into the bleachers..

Yeah the fact that people think that the other player should be punished for throwing pitches out of the zone is ridiculous. The risk/reward is that the other player can just take the pitch for a ball. What more punishmnent should be required?

Yep. This is how online games go right now: Ball one just miss, ball two on the edge. Ball three just up. Strike one, taking all the way, strike two taking all the way, then either ball four or “Swing and a drive!”

I understand what you’re saying, it’s frustrating.
-
I loved playing these types, because I can lay off bad pitches. In fact I'd always get sad when I wouldn't swing and they started throwing me strikes.
-
Punish someone for not throwing strikes??? Now I've seen it all...
How about you take a walk?
-
Most of the time the broken pitching will not let you throw a strike, unless it’s down the middle.
-
Lay off and take a walk. It’s up to you to change your approach
-
These are the best people to play against, just layoff and they will get frustrated and start throwing meatballs over the plate
