It’s come to this. The BenQ xl24 can do 4ms input lag displaying its native resolution but around 9ms at 1080p and 60hz, which is what this game runs at on a PS4. A 5 series TCL can do 10ms. I’m actually leaning more towards a smaller TCL. Are there any other factors to consider? I’m looking forward to hooking this up and playing in the shadow of my 75 inch Sony because that’s how this game is designed to be played.

I have a tcl 43s525 43 inch 5 series and the show plays great on this tv. The tv was dirt cheap, think I paid $260 for it at Best Buy.

I also have a monitor a acer vg271 that is 9.4ms input lag at 1080p 60hz. I don’t notice a difference when playing on the two. I paid $200 for the monitor but I mainly use it for pc gaming but I’ve played the show on it a lot before I got the tv. If I only had the ps4 I would take the tv over the monitor for sure, it was $70 with tax price difference to get a 16 inch bigger screen and the tcl has Dolby vision and 4k movies look great on it

I’m playing on a TCL 4 series now. It’s rated at 12ms input lag. I’ve yet to play on a monitor but my biggest problem now is not being early most of the time.

Guys, this isn't Counter Strike on PC, what are you doing with a BenQ Zowie? If you want to prepare for PS5 get an Ultrawide 3440x1440...Microsoft is pushing for Ultrawide for the new X-Box and I doubt Sony would want to get caught behind.

I had the same issue on both the tv and monitor. I’m no spring chicken so I had to work on swinging sooner which burns me on off speed pitches. Takes practice

So, if I get something now it would only be for the PS4. I’m hoping against hope that the PS5 can do 1080p at 120hz. As you know, the Sony x900f can do 10ms input lag at that, and hopefully then this game could do that as well.

Based on the hardware of the PS5 it would be able to do 1080p at 120 hz, but for sure not 4K at 120 hz unless the games have some weak [censored] anti-aliasing and shaders with no post processing. I'd rather play on Ultrawide than 16:9 at 4K, the 21:9 aspect ratio is so much more immersive, imagine hitting on Fisheye and seeing the fans on the sides of the foul poles. I sold my 32" 4k for a 34" 3440x1440 and its a million times better with the PC games I play. The human eye is designed for wider FOV not vertical...TV manufacturers/TV channels have to get their S*** together and start making 21:9 ratios content...movies are already naturally filmed in 21:9 why not the rest.
