MLB The Show servers going through something currently?

the api is just really a link to the source data being the boxscores, card data etc. being that you can pull it up inside the game itself that means the data is there.... just the access to it through the web is down. gotta be just a broken link somewhere. but i do know that prior to the ultimate "turn off" that the boxscore and api access was dog slow for a few days. that's why i had guessed that there is some resource hogging that was relieved. I could be way off... but i beleive this is why the leagues get deleted after 40-60 days as well. to free up resources. sounds like some tech upgrades are in order.

100% feel the frustration the API outage is causing custom league folks. I followed up today, and there are still no concrete updates. I'll keep tracking it, and hopefully we'll know more soon.

Yeah it’s hurting about a dozen leagues that really use it. A few hundred users that are really affected for sure

We are getting into crunch time for the new season and desperately need these
Hopefully more is being added to them that could help us that would be great news

I'm still getting an error message from mine trying to pulling in game data. This is the error message I got about 10 minutes ago ... "ERROR retrieving DerekF20 (insert username here) page 2 after 3 attempts - The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable." @sds_joek_psn

I was seeing the same. Even on the show web site, when trying to look up a user, it would go into a retry loop

"We're getting this from the game servers. This page will refresh by itself in a few seconds." is what i'm seeing on the online boxscores -

Confirmed working. It does a new little "retry" thing when accessing online boxscores but i'll take it

@sds_joek_psn thanks for your attention to this and pushing it to get worked on. League Commish's and GM's all raise a toast to you this eve. But i do want to re-emphasize the desire for League's to get an overhaul. The idea of a draftboard, proper league layouts and league leaders, the whole GM experience mixed with Diamond Dynasty content... we have a large number of users who would not bother to grind and buy content except for the fact they are playing in these leagues. It's underestimated and has huge potential revenue for SDS. which in turn we hope would make this game the best it can be.
