    Great post!!

Ya... The Jays one is just so laughable but not the only one that makes zero sense. Just the worst of the bunch

In all honesty, I'd rather have the Gavin Lux prospect card at 90 overall in my collection than these juiced FS cards. Lux is legit one of the top prospects in baseball and a 90 is a fair future ranking.

Comparatively, there are 7 live series cards with a 90 or higher rating.

Ehhh, I don't know if 90 is a "fair" ranking. Far from the worst, but still technically inflated. I don't think he is the next Bellinger.

But I'd love to be wrong since I have a nice Rainbow foil of his 2020 Topps Series 1 rookie lol.

I'd think 90 is fair because 2B ratings are easily inflated.. so it makes sense

Sure, but even if he turns out to be like LeMahieu (2019 version), (Which imo would make him a success) he wouldn't be a 90 LS. LIke I said, it's not that egregious, but it is still inflated.

Brewers have the worst farm system in MLB and their "future star" is their no. 14 best prospect haha, what a joke.

Kevin Smith is gonna reinvent Baseball, MLB will have to start "Tiger Proofing" baseball stadiums for him. Go Jays go!

I’m pretty happy to have so many good Mariners prospect cards tbh, and they do have a good farm system right now.

That said, Bo Bichette and Vlad Jr. for sure have been done dirty, comparatively speaking.

Also, are these cards out yet?

Stupid question, but I havent been paying attention to this.
How do you actually get these cards off market? Is it pack pulls? Earn them through a grind?

Bo Bichette has been done sooo dirty!! 40's arm strength!?! Wtf!!! Lol

If you've ever watched him play, he's got a cannon. Not to mention the dude had a 144 OPS+ in 200 MLB ABs last year, after being a top 10 prospect, destroying baseballs at every level.

Yet his LS hitting stats are on par with an absolute scrub.. Gavin Lux had an 85 OPS+ last year in 100 AB or so and his hitting stats are better.. like what the???

Thanks. Cool, looking forward to that.
I assume you'll have to get the Part 1 done first? Dam, I've only got four or five of them in good positions. Dodgers at 70 points, Nats at 68, Rangers and Yanks at 50. A's around 40.
    I better get grinding again.

What’s really funny is the speed rating (39) for Tony Kemp. And when they talk about him in game, he is referred to as a “speedster” or something to that effect. Much like Dahl’s intro.

Reminds me of 19 when Adam Eaton’s speed was either 56 or 59, but Matty V would always say “and now to the plate, the Speedy Adam Eaton.”

Here are the MLB prospect rankings for these future stars, guys getting 92-and-up juiced cards. (Correct me if I got the wrong guy or missed someone):

Diamondbacks: Alek Thomas, the team's No. 2 overall prospect and No. 49 overall in the top-100 prospects in the game (not bad, comparatively).

Orioles: Ryan Mountcastle, the team's No. 4 prospect and No. 94 in the top-100 (But this one didn't surprise me).

Cubs: Nico Hoerner, the team's top prospect and No. 51 overall (again, not bad comparatively, but still juiced).

White Sox: Nick Madrigal, team No. 4 and 40th overall. Dane Dunning, team No. 6 and not in top-100.

Astros: Jose Urquidy, team No. 2 and not in top 100.

Angels: Brandon Marsh, team No. 2 and No. 79 overall.

Mets: Andres Giminez, team No. 3 and No. 84 overall.

Yankees: Clarke Schmidt, team No. 2 and No. 88 overall.

Phillies: Alec Bohm, team's No. 1 and No. 30 overall. Adonis Medina, team's No. 5 (!) and not in top 100.

Padres: Taylor Trammell, team's No. 5 and No. 57 overall (good farm system).

Mariners: Evan White, team's No. 4 and No. 56 overall.

Cardinals: Nolan Gorman, team's No. 2 and No. 47 overall.

Blue Jays: Kevan Smith, team's No. 23 (!!!!) and not in top 100.

So, needless to say, I'm not sure how you justify these guys getting 90-plus cards. Again, it seems like the prospect rankings, while maybe a little generous, seemed pretty good. These future stars are just so out of whack.

On most of the team's, it seemed like they tried to go with guys that are closer to high minors and maybe appearing in MLB. Except guys like Gorman and Thomas were Single-A advanced players and a couple were Double-A.

Wait til you see the Brewers pick. It’ll break your mind.

They should have put future stars out first and made them 85_89. Fotf cards should be the ones 90+. Smith rated higher then vlad is ridiculous. One of best prospects of all time is rated 5 below a guy ranked in the 20s of the system? Seriously?

Great post highlighting the vast years of experience all these future stars bring to the table.

I for one am glad we have such a diverse lineup of diamond players to use instead of low diamond bums like Blake Snell or Javy Baez.

Next up I would like to see a crossover series with stars like Master Chief, Yoshi and Samus.
