It's just people who don't know there's a tax and that you get less than the quicksell value. I think the player base should be more educated by SDS about this, but otherwise I don't see it as big issue.
If you're offering 5,001 stubs for a card with a QS of 5,000 stubs, good luck ace, cuz I'm quickselling that before I take a lowball offer. -

I’ve been around since the Show went online through 23 and I’ve never seen guys listing cards to where when they sold they would get leas than the quick sell price. Definitely different now. -
It’s because our education system is lacking. A large portion of our society lacks reading comprehension let alone basic math skills. And this has been a thing for several years. Any day where rosters would be updated there would be hundreds of listings for the quick sell price on all the new diamonds. These “free thinkers” would watch YouTube to know which players to invest in and then would throw 10% of it away for no [censored] reason other than idiocy.

Especially a basic understanding of the government. "He who shall not be named" tries to do his best to be a dictator and is basically a child running a world power. His actions are so unconstitutional that some people are even concerned for their own safety.

I make a post about selling cards under quick sell price and then there are a couple of numbskulls that have to bring politics into the thread. Isn’t this game supposed to be a release from all of that stuff? Amazing.

This isn't really new, its always been the case. I think people either just don't know how it works or don't care about the price difference. I will sometimes just list a card rather than quick sell it if the prices are relatively close anyway. I'd rather someone get the card then it just disappear in that case. But if the profit difference is more than like 50+ stubs I'll definitely list it.

In other words, people are not that blind to the obvious.
The tax is inflationary, but there are some people who simply want to offer the product on the community market and sell it for the lowest possible price. In short, they are a lot like folks who engage in act of charity. They do it not for profit -- even artificial currency profit -- but are instead motivated to offer things to the public.
They are likely well aware of the situation, but are choosing to sell on the community market for less than they would get from the sell now option.
