This would have been a great opportunity to release A Pete Rose card. He broke the Hits record on 9/11 and have a program to earn players with questionable legacies... Joe Jackson, Hal Chase, Eddie Cicotte. Just saying not everything needs to be about the Yankees and the Mets. Have you forgotten that DC has also been deeply affected that day?

I get annoyed with all the Yankee cards released too. But the 25th anniversary of 9/11 isn’t the day to be concerned about it.

Agreed. Today is the day to feature them.

That said the Yankees will continue to be common throughout the rest of the year. Look how many of their legends don't have 99s yet.
