You are not fooling anyone. You guys are purposely making sure at least half of great contact ends in an out. We see exactly what you are doing!. Thats not even half of it..

Pitchers throwing more balls then strikes, cpu pitchers aware of where we are setting up our pci placements before the pitch, cpu fielders with all 99 abilities and 99 speed.

All to halt progress. We see it, đź‘€. Onto your little scam.

I don’t know man, I’ve never had the slightest bit of trouble offline. Yes of course the P/P outs but that’s maybe 5-7% of the time for me. And pitchers don’t throw a ton of strikes but if you take 2 balls then they usually throw it over.

@Bridge-Piece_XBL you are entitled to your opinion. There have been plenty of comments on here saying the same thing as i just stated.

So you see nothing? Not 99 ability fielders either huh?

Everything is just on the up and up right. Nothing to see here.

You just stated pitchers dont throw a ton of strikes. Why is that? Hmmm

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL seeing as though I play the CPU on random difficulties, half asleep most of the time and don’t even come close to losing - it’s hard for me to have a problem.

If you read the rest of what I said - take some pitches. When you get ahead in the count they do throw strikes. Especially on higher difficulties.

Some of you guys just come here to complain about the same stuff day in and day out. All due respect, just find a different game to play if everything is always so negative.

    @Bridge-Piece_XBL

I don’t think any of us have ever said playing the CPU was hard or that winning wasn’t easy. We are saying it’s obnoxious tedious most times. You are the first to call out people being overly negative but you are often overly positive.

The amount of balls the CPU pitchers throw is flat out obnoxious and completely unrealistic. It’s clear ratings don’t seem to matter at all when it comes to CPU gameplay other than maybe speed. Otherwise common hitters crush random home runs on dotted pitches, common fielders dive and make throws like prime Ozzie Smith or Willie Mays, and common pitchers dot you up constantly. This doesn’t even take into account the sheer number of perfect perfect lineouts that almost magnetically find the CPU fielders gloves. I play the game because I love baseball, because the Show was great back in the day, because it’s the only viable option remaining on the market, and despite its flaws I still have fun. However, to turn a blind eye and downplay others criticisms the way you often do is gaslighting at its finest. We all are entitled to our opinions.

@TripleH-4481_PSN We’re absolutely all entitled to our opinions. Mine is that I’m not going to feed into the constant negativity that seems to trickle down from content creators and then gets repeated here. Some people come here day after day just looking for the next thing to nitpick while barely acknowledging anything positive.

I’m simply saying that I personally have not had these issues against the CPU. Are perfect-perfect outs annoying? Of course. But the vast majority of my perfect-perfects are still hits. And calling offline gameplay a “scam” because the CPU throws too many balls or makes good defensive plays is just ridiculous to me. What exactly does SDS gain by secretly making you take a few extra pitches against the CPU?

If disagreeing with that is “gaslighting,” then so be it. But statements about SDS purposely rigging offline games to “halt progress” make me cringe.

@Bridge-Piece_XBL first of all I hate playing offline im an online player. So any extra time I have to play offline is bad. The way the cpu pitchers dot every pitch, the fielders all being elite, and the amount of good swings not resulting in hits. Does 100 percent feel like its intended to slow down progress. And it needs to be called out whether you like it or not.

Has nothing to do with beating the cpu. We all know thats easy. Its stats and time. 90 percent of awards come from getting hits or home runs. Offline play is not realistic or even close to what it was in past years.

The game in general is bad compared to even last year. But I doubt what you're describing is deliberate. What they've done was tweak the timing windows...when they didn't need to.

Eh, I don't see a ton of difference from year to year. I think the dotting thing is being noticed more because of the change they made to the strike zone boundary which makes the dotting far more noticeable. I do think it happens too often with silver and below pitchers though.

People have been complaining for years that the CPU throws too many balls, although it was mainly limited to Moments when gamers could not finish a moment in one at bat.

And the gold glove common fielders have been a complaint for many years now with diving outfielders and SS and 3B making insane jump throws with regularity. But again, those complaints in the past were mostly limited to Showdowns.

I’d argue they’ve done it in showdowns for years and I complete almost every showdown first try. It doesn’t mean I don’t score 15 runs on 5 outs then somehow get 12 straight outs when I need 2 more runs and have it come down to the final out at a ridiculous rate.

Nobody even mentioned a content creator…yet we are repeating what they said and it trickles down on here? I would 100% call that gaslighting lmao.

@DeleteyourTTVBTW_MLBTS I'm not saying anyone here literally quoted/mentioned a content creator. I'm saying the overall negativity around this game absolutely gets amplified by content creators and then echoed throughout the community. That’s been pretty obvious this year.

Also, disagreeing with someone or thinking their criticism is over the top isn't gaslighting. I'm not telling you that you didn’t experience something. I'm saying I disagree with the conclusion you're drawing from it. Those are two very different things.
