Robert Flores commentary..
-
My favorite is when you strike out and he says, “That’s not your fault, it was his” (the batter)
I laugh every time!

Agree with OP. Cringe.
By the way, I believe he talks about “freshly dealt” because it’s like he’s commenting an a hand being dealt (like in poker). Really annoying if you ask me.

Folks, unless you really just hate how his voice sounds, all the criticisms of Flores are really criticisms of how his voice is programmed to operate in the game.
The timing of his voice is entirely determined by game code.
-
I actually like it. It's cheesy, yes, but fun for something different.
-
It's an interesting contrast of how Flores addresses you as the player while Boog and Singleton comment on the game like it's actually being broadcasted.
-
I just lined out to short in a Conquest game, but was all over a Sinker for the final out of an inning. Robert says: "Hey, you know how much that controller costs, don't even think about it!" Said right on time, and super funny! Well done.

He has his moments

@Dolenz_PSN I think it's because DD is a card collecting mode, so all the players are "cards," at least ostensibly. So the "cards" are "dealt," they "shuffle to the plate," etc. It's basically bad puns.

yeah until the same 4 things about food and gbl lines are so stale and old now.
