Robert Flores commentary..

Its cheesy for sure, I'll admit that, but I like that its at least something different. I find myself choosing it most of the time.
Same for me. I didn't like it much at first, but now I prefer it. I like that he knows what cards you have and their parallel status.

Yeah its definitely more DD focused which is nice. If they build on it in the future it could turn out to be kinda cool.

The Red Diamond lines are hilarious!
I cannot count how many times I was a struggling to score runs, and he says 'the best is yet to come.' 1 or 2 innings later, I start raking! It's incredible. -
My favorite is when you strike out and he says, “That’s not your fault, it was his” (the batter)
I laugh every time!

Agree with OP. Cringe.
By the way, I believe he talks about “freshly dealt” because it’s like he’s commenting an a hand being dealt (like in poker). Really annoying if you ask me.

Folks, unless you really just hate how his voice sounds, all the criticisms of Flores are really criticisms of how his voice is programmed to operate in the game.
The timing of his voice is entirely determined by game code.
-
I actually like it. It's cheesy, yes, but fun for something different.
-
It's an interesting contrast of how Flores addresses you as the player while Boog and Singleton comment on the game like it's actually being broadcasted.
-
I just lined out to short in a Conquest game, but was all over a Sinker for the final out of an inning. Robert says: "Hey, you know how much that controller costs, don't even think about it!" Said right on time, and super funny! Well done.

He has his moments

@Dolenz_PSN I think it's because DD is a card collecting mode, so all the players are "cards," at least ostensibly. So the "cards" are "dealt," they "shuffle to the plate," etc. It's basically bad puns.

yeah until the same 4 things about food and gbl lines are so stale and old now.

i prefer him after how many years of the other 2 who say like the same 5 lines in GBL i just wish i could turn ROFLO on in there but its locked to the other guys.
