    I am so random at my usernames. Just grab two words and mash them together.

    My name is actually quite a boring tale. I was a kid who wanted to play RuneScape and just had dinner, so I just selected the name Eat Yum. I have used the username for over 20 years now on every account I have. I actually have a small LLC I started a few years ago selling cards and I named it Eatyum Cards.

    Yes, mine was a callback to Mickey Dolenz from The Monkees I was never a big fan of the Monkees. Even I am not that old

    In 1999 or 2000 I was playing EverQuest and rolling a new Monk character and trying to come up with a clever name that fit the class and thought of The Monkees. Dolenz just sounded the best as a single word name. (The other options would have been Nesmith, Tork or Jones)

    I have just been using it since so roughly 26 years

    The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal bodeboop. A single lap should be completed every time you hear this sound. Remember to run in a straight line and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark. Get ready, start.

    That's how I got my username y/n?

    @Player99_MLBTS those random tests they had in elementary school was weird. Like they were training us for war or something.

    So, in order to cheer myself up from all the depressing posts out here, how about this? Why did you create the Username you did?

    I think @dolenz_psn 's name is a callback to Micky Dolenz from the Monkees (for those of you under the age of 40, they were a "TV" band in the late 60's). Mine? Simple. Again, for those of you under 40 (50?), Mario Mendoza was one of the worst hitting players of all time. Chris Berman popularized the phrase on Sports Center, and it referred to a player hitting under .200. When I'm playing online, I want to lull my opponent into thinking "oh, this guy must be hitting under .200." Joke's on them. I'm well into the .200's.

    A few guesses:

    @savefarris_psn - from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"?
    @spawnofditka_xbl - Chicago Bears / Mike Ditka fan?
    @ericulous1_psn - Your name is Eric and you're ridiculous.
    @teak2112_mlbts - If I remember, you're Australian? Maybe I'm hallucinating. Googling, maybe it's a tree reference? IDK.
    @blaiseblaise_psn - maybe it's because you really, really liked the French Mathematician Blaise Pascal. Impressive choice if so.
    @drbear100_psn - you're a vet that specializes in Grizzly Bear wounds.
    @samguenther1987_psn - your name is... Sam.
    @eatyum_psn - a reference to Homer Simpson.

    It's my name and the year I was born, super simple lol

    Mine is a tribute to goaltenders in hockey, although I'm not crazy enough to play the position irl! I wanted to take 'TheGoalie,' but it was taken. I play forward, and some defense irl, but goalie? Noooooo.
    Whenever I would go into a lobby in EASHL in the NHL series(Online team play as yourself), people would laugh as I'd be wing or center!

    I was called Virus in high school by my basketball team because I had a mysterious viral infection which caused me to miss almost the entire basketball season. It was like COVID now but in the 90s. I could hardly walk more than a few blocks without getting tired and I was an athlete. Doctors kept saying it was a virus so people started calling me virus and it was around the time Con Air came out with Cyrus the Virus.

    I’ve had this virusts name since the mid to late 90s logging into AOL IM and message boards then

    I made my name in Socom early 2000's. Started with dr DemIsE (die capitalized). When Socom 3 came out I had a brand new HD TV that weighed 225 pounds. For some reason I was having trouble seeing the kill feed so I dropped the dr (no I'm not a Dr and this was well before Disrepect) and put _ in between each letter. For some reason I could immediately see the underscores so that has been my name for going on 23 years now.

    My youngest son when he was 5-6 years old he created this ultra charismatic bombastic imaginary character. Now that he's older getting ready to go college in the fall, we still joke about that and have a good laugh.

    The reason I chose that handle is because it's very easy to pretend to be something your not. Kinda satirical, maybe ironic.

    Unfortunately, I've little interest in the most famous Blaise, the French mathematician. It's just my name, twice. But, impressive that you even know Blaise Pascal. I was actually named after the saint.

    In the Magic: The Gathering universe, the Mycosynth is a strange organism created by Phyrexian corruption on the plane of Mirrodin. It spreads spores that convert metal into flesh and flesh into metal.
