Still cheaters at the 600 level is wild.

Opponent in my 4th game of weekend classic is lining everything up perfect, has 4 players over .700 batting average at parallel 4. Never seen anyone with a BA that high at this elo... let alone multiple cards. Every single pitch I took was perfect. At low 600 elo. Just don't get it.
-
He could just be tanking his rank to get in the lower levels
-
@Apolloz_99_MLBTS I wouldn’t be and would be surprised all at once. I’m surprised because their egos usually get in the way of this.
On the other hand, I’m not surprised because people will do anything to win.
-
There needs to be a 5 ranked game played qualifier to be able to participate in weekend classic. This solves the tanking issue. If you want to tank ok. You can tank your record as well.
This way when a ws player starts at 550 rank. Or 600 whatever it is. Forcing 5 ranked games is not going to be fun to lose consistently to stay at 600.
And they need to make wc rewards alot better than they are. Considering this is a once a month event, that will also help.
-
Exactly. Once a month event, one smurf/cheat, 2 DCs after none before this weekend for at least 2 weeks, and 3 close games. Stinks, and to make matters worse dude talked mad trash via XBL after, didn't even deny cheating when I mentioned it. Sucks to get all the new content, then have issues even playing it.
-
@Desolator78_MLBTS that sucks! Yeah we are at a point in the year now where some of these 1000 ranks arnt playing ranked anymore. And end up in the 600 levels. Thats not right. I cannot understand how this company is so uncreative. This is common sense. You cant let a 1000 rank not play for a month or two and let 600 ranks match up with those guys. A 600 rank even a 700 rank playing a 1000 rank is a quaranteed loss. Its a completely different skill set. Im an 800 rank now. The difference between my skill set and someone who cant get past the 600 rank is night and day. A player who cannot get past the 600s i will beat 90 percent of the time.
-
Yeah, very few people scare me in the 700 to 1000 area - you win some, you lose some (and a few are weird cheaters).
But most of the 1000 and up people are playing a different kind of game - they will usually have a couple innings every game where they are crazy locked in, and you just cant keep pace with the score.
-
@AppleLemon560_MLBTS yes 1000 or higher are on a completely different level than everyone else. And its not even close. My 800 range isnt even close to them.

It's called the 3rd party device level.
-
@SpawnOfDitka_XBL yeah I’ve gotten close to 1000 can never get over the hump tho. Can only get to like 990
-
@SpawnOfDitka_XBL what if they tank so low then play up to that rank? They would have played their games like u said?
-
It feels like there are a super low number of people who are above-1000 players. I have a friend who is, and watch some streamers who are. It feels like theyre always playing each other - like, there's only a small handful of them.
Sometimes in general, it seems like the player base in this game is pretty limited - despite what the numbers report.
-
@Dinger_Dan19_PSN then they would lose a bunch of games. I can assure you higher ranked players care about their records. Nothing is a 100 percent fix. Implementing nothing is a 100 percent non fix.
The other thing sds could implement is you cannot play lower than 200 ranked points than your highest rank. If my highest rating is 808 which it currently is. i would not be allowed to ever play wc in anything under 600.
-
@SpawnOfDitka_XBL I like this idea, it keeps the playing field somewhat level.
-
Played a cheater last WC on my other account in bronze I. He just finished like 87 mini season games the hour before

They are in every level of the game on brand new accounts selling as many stubs as possible. It’s like a whole sweatshop
-
@SpawnOfDitka_XBL u can go into WC at the end and quit all the way with no penalty to record. Then play up.
