Whats with all the roster "exploits"?

@xRatedGProdigyx_PSN what do you mean "the ball doesnt go anywhere"? How many home runs do you want in a game? No matter what stadium you pick, this game has way way more home runs than any normal baseball game.
But look, I know why even good players pick Coors. If you think you bat well, you want as many swings as possible to be home runs - because any ball in play has the RNG factor that it can be right at the fielder (no matter how hard hit)
So yeah, I get it - but dont be like "it plays better". It plays worse and more like arcade baseball, lol. What you mean to say is "its better for grinding" or "it helps me win more".
Coors Field is far more hitter friendly than other stadiums. It's easier for people to get the multiplayer / event programs done. Now me personally in the events, I pick a bunch of different stadiums such as Bayfront, The Porch, or NLB stadiums. HRs are few and far between. Most perfects are singles and goods are often flyouts. It usually just ends up whoever was lucky enough to hit a HR wins (even if the other person had more hits). More stats = more packs. Grinding at Coors is much faster than anywhere else.
Coors is also great for triples. The triples legacy thing can be made less difficult if you play at coors or somewhere with a large field

@Bridge-Piece_XBL coors doesn’t play the best. It’s just one of tue easiest. Homeruns leaving the field sub 90mph.

None of the things mentioned are exploits.
They may be annoying or even cheesy but not exploits

Correct - both players have the same stadium or effects, there’s no advantage
-
Polo grounds is triples grind heaven.
-
It could be that people use rain to lag you - I don’t put it past people to do creative stuff to get an advantage.
And with as laggy as the game can be, that’s probably it
Possibly they have a great internet connection and know they’ll run into someone with a bad connection and just force lag / you then can’t hit a fastball ever
More particle effects, more strain on your internet no matter the machine
That or they just like rainy day baseball
I always choose overcast / nighttime so everyone can see the ball better

I played 4 RS games yesterday to rack up some "innings" for the rewards path. Every game I faced Misiorowski. It was painful.
Miz or deGrom, Coors field, at least 7 switch hitters. Every game in ranked.
Do people not realize there are probably thousands of different stadiums that play just as well or way better than Coors field in the vault available to download and play. Absolutely zero thought, just click Coors field. Everytime I see Coors field it reminds me of some 60 iq person subscribing to YFK and giving him money. Now, I always say do what you want with your money but I would rather burn it or flush it down the toilet. You could give that money to a homeless person, charity, etc. I don't understand giving money to grown [censored] men that don't want to get a real job.
-
Coors helps get the program done faster and a not insignificant portion of players are trying to just finish the program and GTFO of online play.
-
Switch hitters are meta, it negates shrinkage. As for the SS in the outfield, they have speed and aren’t punished for playing out of position.
-
The constant switch hitters is getting annoying. I don't even think its as much about shrinkage, although thats part of it, but I think its more about the fact that if you do use a right/left handed hitter you're going to get spammed with non-stop sinkers in on your hands which can be tough to hit even when you know they're coming.
-
Don't get me started on pencil or crayon bat - Ill sign any petition to have it banned. Good grief, there's so many cool bats- stop picking those!
Ps: I'd rather face Miz or Degrom than Halladay or Ubaldo (or Clemens or Leiter definitely). Movement is more deadly than velocity.

Absolutely correct. Now one thing to someone's point above- the ball dies a ton almost anywhere else this is irrefutably true... but to that I say "adjust your approach". Some looking for long ball and start playing baseball. Score runs by manufacturing them. CPU pitchers in MS love going up and away with fastballs...slap those puppies down the line and if you've got anyone with over 20 speed it's almost a guaranteed double.
I've also found utilizing our bench players seems to be a bit more important this year too. Don't like the match up? Go to a bench player for better splits. I'm having a hard time hitting dingers this year for the most part because the pitching accuracy changes with the breeze...but I'm not having a hard time with winning- at least not against the CPU.

Yesterday played a guy that had 7-9 switch hitters!! It sucks for sure and for a game that claims realism, this game is anything but close to real!!! It’s annoying but I get it because sds shoves switch hitters down our throats and they are all good. As far as everything else I’ve pretty much gave up on caring since nothing will ever get fixed and I only play to complete the programs and then I don’t have to play online after that. It’s a requirement to have an iq of 80 or less to work at SDS it’s basically a giant make a wish program.
-
Here's a controversial take though - using switchies doesnt help as much as you'd think because...
The inside-breaking cutter and slider has become the toughest pitch to deal with in the game. A lot of people slam inside sinkers now (even same side), and they'll rake that low-away slider.

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN these aren't exploits. I can't win so i'll find something to make myself feel better. Just state that. That makes way more sense.
How is playing a SS thst has never played in the outfield not an exploit?
-

So, an exploit for not being punished playing out of position. I rest my case.
-
Weird question…
What SS is better in CF than an outfielder that actually plays there? I mean, there are plenty of speed outfielders who are pretty damned good.
-
@JDHalfrack_PSN not sure, but if you want to use both Elly and, say, Jimmy Rollins without burning your DH spot (and have Ketel and J-Ram at 2B and 3B, for example) instead of going with someone like Mickey (maybe for swing reasons - I like him but it doesn’t seem everyone does) or Adam Jones or Buxton (cause they don’t switch hit), then it kind of is what it is right now
-
@JDHalfrack_PSN it’s just to have an additional switch hitter out there.
-

They are punished, it’s just similar to a secondary penalty. It’s by design. You can play catchers out of position at 1B. SS can also play 2B. CF can play the corners etc.
None of these things are exploits.
