I can't blame people for playing at Coors Field this year. The ball doesn't go anywhere in most other stadiums. Makes the multiplayer / events program take much longer.

I'm not sure about SS's playing CF. I know there are streamers who recommend it but I've never listened to them explain why.

I mean, the game pushes the switch hitter agenda to the max. They're literally encouraging people to use them. And FWIW, Barry Bonds Castro had a 4-for-6 with 2 HRs and 7RBI day. So... Topps Now / Spotlight coming? Haha.

and speaking of this I can imagine if it were an option Coors Field would be benched in a heartbeat for that Las Vegas minor league field that they’ve been playing at for that six game set that just wrapped. Almost makes it a shame that the new home of the A’s is gonna have a dome lol

Every single game has one if the following:

6 or more switch hitters in the lineup.

Shortstops like Elly, Rollins, or Tulo playing centerfield.

    Playing in the rain.

    Playing at Coors Field.

Guess people need to find ways to compensate for their lack of skills.

Unfortunately Victor, Berkman, JRam, Ketel, Chone, Simmons, Posada are some of the best cards in the game.

Coors plays the best of any stadium.

SS in CF, people do it but it’s not my thing. Would rather have Tulo at SS.

Rain - I don’t get why people do that but I find that I randomly hit well in the rain for some reason so I don’t mind.

@xRatedGProdigyx_PSN what do you mean "the ball doesnt go anywhere"? How many home runs do you want in a game? No matter what stadium you pick, this game has way way more home runs than any normal baseball game.

But look, I know why even good players pick Coors. If you think you bat well, you want as many swings as possible to be home runs - because any ball in play has the RNG factor that it can be right at the fielder (no matter how hard hit)

So yeah, I get it - but dont be like "it plays better". It plays worse and more like arcade baseball, lol. What you mean to say is "its better for grinding" or "it helps me win more".

I’m curious about the rain bit. What does this do? Surely the ball doesn’t carry as well? I only play offline so I’m truly curious…when I remember to think of it, I try for ‘partly cloudy’ (I think that’s what it’s called) because I noticed once that I got a 13mph wind blowing straight out once on that setting but it usually backfires on me and I get it blowing in lol

As a Mets fan, I prefer to switch between Shea & Citifield. Every single opponent i faced used Coors.

I’m not sure. I think maybe the rain drops bother people? I actually low key like it, but I never choose it because it bothers other people.

I always thought maybe it makes fielders make more errors - the people who do the rain thing have high class defense, typically. I think it’s to get an extra edge if your opponent may have crappy fielders. Or people out of position etc

Not sure but I do play some games at a rainy coors against people and can only speculate

They typically have the crayon or pencil bat as well

I played 4 RS games yesterday to rack up some "innings" for the rewards path. Every game I faced Misiorowski. It was painful.

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN these aren't exploits. I can't win so i'll find something to make myself feel better. Just state that. That makes way more sense.

Coors Field is far more hitter friendly than other stadiums. It's easier for people to get the multiplayer / event programs done. Now me personally in the events, I pick a bunch of different stadiums such as Bayfront, The Porch, or NLB stadiums. HRs are few and far between. Most perfects are singles and goods are often flyouts. It usually just ends up whoever was lucky enough to hit a HR wins (even if the other person had more hits). More stats = more packs. Grinding at Coors is much faster than anywhere else.

Coors is also great for triples. The triples legacy thing can be made less difficult if you play at coors or somewhere with a large field

@Bridge-Piece_XBL coors doesn’t play the best. It’s just one of tue easiest. Homeruns leaving the field sub 90mph.

None of the things mentioned are exploits.

They may be annoying or even cheesy but not exploits

Correct - both players have the same stadium or effects, there’s no advantage

It could be that people use rain to lag you - I don’t put it past people to do creative stuff to get an advantage.

And with as laggy as the game can be, that’s probably it

Possibly they have a great internet connection and know they’ll run into someone with a bad connection and just force lag / you then can’t hit a fastball ever

More particle effects, more strain on your internet no matter the machine

That or they just like rainy day baseball

I always choose overcast / nighttime so everyone can see the ball better

Miz or deGrom, Coors field, at least 7 switch hitters. Every game in ranked.

Do people not realize there are probably thousands of different stadiums that play just as well or way better than Coors field in the vault available to download and play. Absolutely zero thought, just click Coors field. Everytime I see Coors field it reminds me of some 60 iq person subscribing to YFK and giving him money. Now, I always say do what you want with your money but I would rather burn it or flush it down the toilet. You could give that money to a homeless person, charity, etc. I don't understand giving money to grown [censored] men that don't want to get a real job.

Coors helps get the program done faster and a not insignificant portion of players are trying to just finish the program and GTFO of online play.

Switch hitters are meta, it negates shrinkage. As for the SS in the outfield, they have speed and aren’t punished for playing out of position.
